00:05If I could give one piece of advice, it would be to study more.

00:07It's the opportunity cost of wasting four years in a school.

00:10How is it a waste?

00:11Because you're being told what to do, and you're not thinking for yourself.

00:14Yeah, welcome to every job in the world.

00:15Being told what to do and not thinking for yourself.

00:17How many jobs do you give you the creativity?

00:18You're not going to be in a Facebook group.

00:19But look at both of us.

00:20Both of us are in a very creative field.

00:22We're not told what to do.

00:23We're like the 1% of the 1%ers, though.

00:24But who's to say you can't do that?

00:26Reality. Most people can't.

00:28In college, you're not earning anything for four years.

00:30The whole point about college is you're doing an investment in yourself.

00:32You take on some early debt to increase your lifetime earnings potential.

00:35For a lot of people, life just works better on rails.

00:38It sounds so mean because we have like the dream job of,

00:40Oh, you're your own boss.

00:41But there are people who, if you throw them into the wind, they are lost.

00:45When you're 18, it's the only time in your life where you get to exclusively study,

00:48not have to worry about working a job, taking care of a family.

00:51And if you want to not do the college thing,

00:53but I think you have to have a really good idea of what you want to do as an alternative,

00:55it's better to wander aimlessly in college than it is to wander aimlessly outside of college.
