Canberra woman recalls meeting Hulk Hogan as a kid

00:00I mean back in those days WWE was just the thing for kids. I knew about WWE and

00:07you know about Hulk Hogan's legacy but I wasn't necessarily in it and so when we

00:15were told we were going to meet Hulk Hogan it was pretty pretty surreal when

00:20at the time I was only seven years old so had the idea but not really what it

00:27meant so the whole time yeah I was just like I'm gonna be Hulk Hogan this is

00:33crazy and it wasn't until the day where my parents and I went to Parliament House

00:39and there was all these cameras you know like for either for the newspaper or TV

00:45there was so many people from the Parliament House even a few politicians

00:51here and there and yeah it was just so it's like the atmosphere was just pure

00:59excitement to see Hulk Hogan and it wasn't until he walked past me and I kind of

01:06looked up and I thought oh that's who you are okay and yeah so I mean even when I

01:14met him it was it was very surreal and and kind of blanked a few times and I mean

01:24even when meeting him he was pretty nice despite of who he is in the in the in

01:32the industry and pretty sure I remember him you know putting his hand on my head

01:38and saying hey brother how you doing and and whatnot so yeah I mean it was a

01:43really good day and and it was it was just very astronomical and exciting and

01:50yeah it was a day I probably won't forget in the near future so yeah
