00:03Simon here with a brand-new post-launch update for Assassin's Creed Shadows.

00:07And I'm Dan, community developer.

00:11We're back with another juicy update to get you up to speed

00:14on everything coming to Assassin's Creed Shadows during the summer.

00:17Okay, so it's been a very busy springtime around the office.

00:21First, we had our special collaboration with Dead by Daylight

00:24and the addition of Critical Role's Rufino as an ally for your hideout.

00:29Plus, we've added a ton of requested mechanic with our first parkour update,

00:34new HUD customization settings,

00:36the option of wearing headgear in cutscenes,

00:38a few photomode upgrades,

00:40and of course, our brand-new Nightmare difficulty setting.

00:44Here's a look at some winners of our recent photomode contest

00:47from our official Discord server.

00:54But enough about the past, Dan.

00:56We're here to talk about the future.

00:58Now, summer's here, obviously.

01:00And here's what you can expect in the next couple of months.

01:03Three words, New Game Plus.

01:06You've asked for it, and now we're ready to deliver.

01:08So, New Game Plus will be available to you as soon as you complete the last story mission

01:13and the credits have rolled.

01:14Opting in will reset your story progression,

01:17your objective board progression, as well as your discovered location.

01:21But, don't worry, your character level, your required gear, your knowledge rank,

01:26as well as your precious hideout progression will remain untouched.

01:29When launching New Game Plus, you can either start from the very beginning,

01:32reliving the events of the Tencho War in IGA,

01:35or you can skip right over the prologue to the moment where Naoe inherits the hideout from Tomiko.

01:41Either way, we made sure that none of the basic tutorials will bother you on your second playthrough.

01:46We're increasing the level cap from 60 to 80 for all players,

01:50and introducing brand new knowledge ranks, new mastery and knowledge skill ranks,

01:56and new upgrades for all hideout buildings, including two new upgrades for Heiji's Forge.

02:01New Game Plus is also the perfect opportunity to switch between Naoe and Yasuke,

02:05and experience things differently than however it went on your first playthrough.

02:09And if you manage to beat New Game Plus once again,

02:12we'll have a bunch of rewards that are unique to you and give you a ton of bragging rights.

02:17July is also when you can expect Project 3 to appear.

02:20There will be new resources, data files, and exclusive Animus-themed rewards for you to collect.

02:25Remember, if you're still working on the first two projects,

02:28you can either finish them up or swap to the new project.

02:32There's no time pressure.

02:41It will be the perfect place to ask your questions and learn more about what we're cooking.

02:45And lastly, we're going to be adding a bunch of highly requested features,

02:48such as the ability to unfog the map by completing every single viewpoint per region,

02:54and last but not least, the ability to fast-forward time of day.

02:59I know, I know.

03:01Some of us designers were quite resistant to give it to you guys, myself included.

03:06But we've heard you, and now we're giving it to you.

03:09You guys win on this one.

03:10So do we want to announce the date for Clause of Awaji?

03:13Yeah, no, yeah, I think we have footage for that, right?

03:16That's right. Mark your calendars, folks. Clause of Awaji will be available on September 16th,

03:28and it's going to be free for all of you who've pre-ordered the game.

03:31That's it for our summer plans. New Game Plus is coming July 29th, our AMA will happen in August,

03:37and the Clause of Awaji will release on September 16th.
