00:26on new heights with jason and travis that that was so much fun and i resonated so well when you're

00:31talking about moments with your family and especially your daughters and being a girl dad

00:36and you know experiencing all these stages my kids are six and four and i know your kids are a little

00:41bit older so you know you're already putting it in perspective how much you're going to miss those

00:46stages of life yeah i wish i could go back do you just just for a minute you know um it goes by fast

00:54enjoy every second the things that are the most trying for you right now are the things you're

00:59going to miss the most right i think you were saying like uh like even brushing their teeth at

01:04night and we have like a constant battle every single night and like you're going to miss those

01:07things bedtime like wrestling them down the bed you know it's this that's all those things you know

01:11it's such a beautiful journey and uh i get more from my kids than anything they're my best friends

01:17and blessed yeah blessed to have them and that's why everything else you know you do your best you

01:23go through life and try to do as much good as you can work on your art take care of your people and

01:28do those things and all the noise all the people that hate on it or whatever you know they probably

01:33don't i don't know the people that that really have fulfilling lives that are out doing things are

01:38the ones that are sitting and writing all the comments and hating on things so you got to consider

01:43where the source is coming from sometimes but i try to encourage them to really find something

01:47that they love and follow something that they love and put themselves entirely into it do they

01:51love the music as much yeah they're they're playing um playing some instruments and doing things but i

01:58don't push them on it you know i just try to have things around and um but i i've got one playing

02:03the guitar now she's doing awesome one playing the piano and one that loves to sing is only one that

02:08will sing in front of me okay real really yeah but um but they're all they all have their own

02:12superpowers and and um different personalities completely different and uh but we have a great

02:17little village with all of them and that's really i mean every other week when i have them i'm like

02:22i'm dad that's what i do yeah and i don't want to miss out on that i don't want to look back and go

02:26wow i didn't even know them or whatever you know so i'm not available as much as you know to smooth

02:33people and to have the hangs and things like that as many people but i know where my priorities

02:38are and where they lie and um and they know the sacrifice that i make being away from them

02:43to do the things that i do so we got to make it count you know however many summers we have left

02:47to to make it make a difference and to to you know feed our soul and and create the things that

02:54we want to create and it's a it's just such a blessing i love being a dad yeah it's my favorite thing
