“Boheme means traveling without getting attached to a spatial place, and embracing a free-spirit lifestyle,” Boheme SG (@bohemesg) founder Veronique Machharam shared during a #PreviewExclusive chat at the Manila pop-up hosted by Comme Çi (@comme__ci) and Shauna Jay Popple (@shaunajaypopple).

Born in France, previously based in India and the UAE, and currently residing in Singapore, Vero has led a colorful, intercontinental life of just that. Her exposure to different cultures and her love of travel roused her to capture the marvels she has experienced into concrete, wearable works of art that she can take wherever in the world she may be. 00:00Hi, my name is Bero and I'm the founder and designer of BOEM SG. BOEM means traveling
00:14with not really attached to a special place and embracing a free spirit lifestyle. The brand is
00:22reflecting my way of life and I'm inspired by epochs of places like Kenya, like Singapore,
00:33tropical countries, the sea, Egypt. Everything is ethically sourced and Polish. It's a lot of work
00:43and I'm very grateful for my group of artisans that are built in Jaipur. My details collection
00:50is dude. So I presented Samir. It's really organic and inspired by the waves of the dude or the waves
01:00of the sea. There's a lot of fresh baroque pub. It's inspired by Dubai where I spent actually 10 years.
01:11I tried to make smaller pieces, bigger pieces and it touched many ladies. So I would say all those
01:18ladies have one thing in common, they are strong, independent, free spirit, really,
01:25that are not scared to be bold and wear statement jewelry.
