⚠️ Severe weather is slamming the Heartland as powerful thunderstorms move across the Great Plains on July 21, 2025. Over 4.6 million Americans in states including Kansas, Nebraska, Colorado, Montana, North Dakota, and South Dakota are at risk as a major storm system brings dangerous conditions.  🌪️ Key threats include:  High winds with gusts up to 85 mph  Large hail up to 2.5 inches in diameter (egg-sized)  Isolated tornadoes possible in several areas  The most intense activity is expected from southern Nebraska to the Canadian border, where the storm’s energy is strongest. 00:00I hope everyone in the heartland is ready for the storm of the century,

00:03because on July 21st, 4.6 million Americans across Kansas, Nebraska, Colorado, Montana,

00:12North Dakota, and South Dakota were under threat from severe thunderstorms.

00:19This storm system brought with it multiple hazards,

00:22including damaging high winds, large hail, and impossible tornadoes.

00:27The most concerning thing about this system, though, was the damaging high winds.

00:32That's because some gusts were reported to be as high as 85 miles per hour.

00:36But the other big threat with this storm system was the large hail.

00:41Some of those hailstones were reported to be as big as 2.5 inches in diameter,

00:46which is about the size of an egg,

00:48especially from southern Nebraska all the way up to the Canadian border.
