MOVIE TITLE: THUG TEACHER (2019) Action Drama Film Na Dae Gi was the leader of a student gang and had power over all high schools in his area. He declares the gang's disbandment, goes into a third-degree College of Education to become a teacher, and finds a job in Kangho High, which has a reputation for being highly populated with troublemakers. The student gangs at Kangho High, who all the other teachers have given up on, start a fight with Dae Gi, who prepares a lesson of his own, and so begins the war between the gangster teacher and the student gang at Kangho High.

00:00The film centers around a man named Na Deji, who battles a gang of thugs on the rooftop of a

00:19building. Despite being by himself, he defeats them with ease, thanks to his past as a gangster.

00:24After seven years have passed, Na Deji has left his life as a gangster behind, and has earned a

00:32degree from the College of Education. He has now begun a new chapter in his life. As he searches

00:37for a place to live, he discovers an apartment with a terrifying past. Someone died there,

00:43so the owner lowered the rent. So, he decides to stay there until he secures a higher-paying job.

00:49The scene shifts to focus on high school students, where teacher Mr. Park was bullied,

00:54who works as the gym teacher at Kang Ho High School. Mr. Park decides to resign because he

00:59can't tolerate the bullying in the school. The principal then informs the teachers that any

01:04students who engage in fighting or bullying teachers will be expelled. He asks the teachers

01:08to find a replacement for Mr. Park. However, it's difficult because the school has a poor reputation.

01:14One teacher, Mr. Lim, contacts Deji, his former student who recently graduated from the College

01:20of Education, and invites him to work as a substitute teacher at Kang Ho High. Eager to find a job,

01:25Deji quickly accepts the offer. The next morning, Deji heads to the school on his scooter. While on the

01:30way, he notices a group of Kang Ho High students smoking, so he stops and warns them. But they confront

01:36him and challenge him to a fight. Deji is skilled in combat, so he effortlessly takes them down.

01:42Upon arriving at the school, Deji meets the principal and the rest of the teachers,

01:46who caution him about the troublesome students. Ms. Yuri, a female teacher, leads him to his

01:52classroom. When he enter the classroom, the students disregard him, so he slams his book

01:56on the table to grab their attention. Some of the students he caught smoking are in the class

02:00and seem to be afraid of him. As he write his name on the blackboard and introduce himself,

02:06the students laugh at his name, but it's fine for him. After class, a student named Ji Hyun asks her

02:11friends how she can make a lot of money faster. Ji Hyun is ready to do whatever it takes to make

02:16money. Kang and Bo Yeon, the two boys Deji had fought earlier, overhearing Ji Hyun conversation,

02:23so the two approach her. Kang and Bo Yeon offer Ji Hyun a job that promises a large reward. Without

02:28hesitation, she agrees to take the job. Despite her friends' warnings not to trust them, she agrees

02:32anyway. Later that night, Deji is on his scooter, heading home, and crosses paths with Ji Hyun,

02:39and while Da Ji helping her, Kang and Bo Yeon show up, recording Da Ji using their cell phone,

02:44attempting to frame him with false accusations of harassment. Soon after, a student named Nam Hoon

02:49arrives on his bicycle. He grabs Kang's phone and deletes the video. Nam Hoon is held in high regard

02:54by the troublemaking students. Seeing his influence, Da Ji assumes that Nam Hoon is their leader.

02:59However, Nam Hoon denies it. The following day, Nam Hoon arrives at school with The Rin,

03:04his girlfriend. The Rin is excited because she has some good news to share. Then Kang Byan and their

03:09boss Da Yeo, they watch them with expressions of annoyance. Da Ji tries to learn more about Nam Ho.

03:14He asks some teacher of what they know about Nam Ho. He figure out that Nam Hoon was the leader of a

03:19gang in middle school. However, he is changed when he entered in high school. Particularly after starting

03:24a relationship with Ye Rin. In the classroom, The Rin reveals that she is signed with a record company

03:29and will be debuting as an idol. All her classmates become excited, and also Da Hine and his gang member,

03:34who mock her after Nam Hoon hear it and he try to stay calm, due to the principal's rule against

03:39fighting. However, when one of the gang members pushes The Rin, Nam Hoon couldn't calm down and

03:44he retaliated. Da Hine intervenes to break up the fight. Upon hearing about the fight, the principal

03:50decides to expel Nam Ho. Da Ji tries to persuade the principal to give Nam Ho on another chance,

03:55believing he was provoked by the troublemakers. Da Ji gets down on his knees and pleads with the

04:00principal to reconsider. The principal, moved by Da Ji's sincerity, decides to give Nam Hoon another

04:06opportunity. Miss Yuri and all the teacher respect Da Gi for his genuine care toward his students,

04:12including the troublemaker. After that, Da Ji and Miss Yuri walk out of the school together.

04:17They witness Ji Hoon being mistreated by her boss. While she's at her part-time job, Da Ji steps in to

04:23stop and confronts her boss, making Miss Yuri more impressed. At the same time, Da Hine and his gang

04:29gather with a gang boss. Choi and his gang who are student from Kang Ho Hai are also in that

04:33gathering. The gang boss refuses to allow two gangs to rule the same school. He then orders Da Hine and

04:39Choi to fight each other, determining who will lead and control Kang Ho Hai. The winner will take control

04:44as the leader of the student gang and rule the school. Choi asks Nam Hoon to join his group in

04:50order to help them defeat Da Hine's gang. However, Nam Hoon refuses, as he no longer wants to fight.

04:56At the same time, Da Ji gets a call from an old friend, requesting help to handle some troublesome

05:01thugs. Da Ji declines, as he has chosen to focus on being a teacher and steer clear of fighting

05:06at the school, a teacher by the name of Mr. Lee. Secretly, Mr. Lee discovers that Da Ji was once

05:13the leader of a student gang and was feared by many. The next day, Mr. Lee told the other teachers

05:18about Da Ji's past. He accuses Nam Hoon of being Da Ji's accomplice, since Da Ji defended him from being

05:24expelled. After hearing this, Ms. Yuri and the other teachers who were once friendly toward Da Ji

05:29begin to distance themselves from him. Mr. Lee did this out of jealousy over Da Ji's closeness with

05:34Ms. Yuri, whom he secretly loves. Choi remains persistent in trying to recruit Nam Hoon into his

05:40group. He threatens to send photos of the Rin smoking to the record company she signed with,

05:45which could get her removed from the program. Not wanting to jeopardize the Rin's career,

05:50Nam Hoon agrees to join Choi's group. That night, Da Ji's father becomes upset after hearing rumors

05:56that his son is still getting into fights despite being a teacher. Da Ji takes the time to explain

06:00everything to his father, clearing up the misunderstanding and assuring him that he's

06:04not involved in fights. He's just doing his best to support his students. The day finally comes for

06:10the showdown between Da Ji's gang and Choi's gang to determine who will lead the student gang.

06:14They select a quiet spot under an overpass to avoid being caught. Da Ji's gang is shocked to see

06:19Nam Hoon with Choi, as he had always claimed he no longer wanted to fight and preferred to focus on

06:24school. Meanwhile, the teachers learn about the fight and hurry to the scene. In the midst of the

06:30fight Da Ji shows up and asks the students to stop, but they ignore him and attack, forcing him to

06:35defend himself. Initially, Da Ji manages to take on the students, but being alone, he soon starts to

06:41struggle. He also restrains himself, not wanting to cause them harm. As one of the students is about to

06:46strike him, Nam Hoon steps in to help, and together they fight off the troublemakers.

06:51After Da Ji and Nam Hoon manage to end the fight, they help restore peace among the students.

06:56The teachers arrive and find Da Ji advising the students to stop fighting.

07:00Despite this, the school holds Da Ji responsible for starting the fights and decides to dismiss him

07:05as a teacher of the school. Upon hearing that Da Ji has been dismissed as a teacher, Nam Hoon and the

07:10other students, who now respect him as their teacher, feel deeply saddened. They all come out to show

07:15their support for him. With a heavy heart, he walks out of the school. Later, Da Ji was visited by his

07:21father, who this time, expresses pride in him for teaching his students not to fight, despite losing

07:26his job. The film concludes with Da Ji joining his father to inspect the construction of a new school
