00:00First, I want to talk about the Brazil-Venezuela game.
00:03This was a very impressive game.
00:05I think Venezuela played a very strong match.
00:08Although Brazil did 1-2-0, I think Venezuela was...
00:12It is so impressive the way that they were able to hold off Brazil's attack
00:17for the first, I think, 80 to 70 minutes, you know?
00:20I think they played incredibly strong.
00:22But at the end of the day, Brazil is the powerhouse and the favorite,
00:26and that's why they got the win.
00:27But, you know, I think games like this show that there is room
00:30for a little bit of uncertainty in this tournament
00:32and that there will be surprises along the way.
00:35Next up, we have to talk about the rivalry, Argentina versus Uruguay.
00:40This was, wow.
00:41It was a feisty match.
00:43Uruguay got a red card, so they were left with 10 women on the field,
00:47and Argentina was able to capitalize that and win 1-0.
00:52You know, I think that this was a very specific type of match.
00:55I think that Uruguay definitely had a shot to win this match,
00:59and it's, if not, tie.
01:01But there were some choices by the manager that I don't agree with.
01:04They have incredibly strong forwards, and instead, Uruguay,
01:08when they went down a man, dropped their forwards back
01:11into the left-back position, and that's when they got scored on.
01:14So, you know, I think they played a little bit scared,
01:16and hopefully they're able to make some changes in their upcoming matches.
01:19But we are still in the early days of this tournament.
01:22We are in the group stages.
01:24There are so many more matches to be played,
01:26and who knows what will happen.
01:28So, the lineup of games this week is amazing.
01:32First off, we got to start with Uruguay versus Peru today at 2 p.m.
01:36Uruguay is comfortable in the tournament so far,
01:39but Peru's still out there fighting to stay alive in the tournament,
01:42so this one matters.
01:44All right, next up, we have Argentina versus Chile at 5 p.m.
01:49Argentina's already on a roll, but Chile, they're not out yet,
01:53so this could mean anything.
01:55Expect some serious hustle in this game, and we'll see how the results end up.
01:59Next up, tomorrow, Venezuela versus Bolivia.
02:03This one's hard.
02:04I mean, Bolivia's basically packing their bags already at this point,
02:07but Venezuela still needs these points, so expect a good game.
02:11Colombia versus Paraguay tomorrow is looking promising.
02:14Colombia's got strong energy, but Paraguay's got that win-or-go-home mentality.
02:19And do not sleep on Monday's matches.
02:21We have Argentina versus Peru again, and Chile versus Ecuador,
02:25and this one, Chile's got a win period.
02:28So, again, important matches this week.
02:30On another note, there is something that I would like to talk about.
02:33We saw some news coming from the captain of Brazil, Marta, the icon,
02:38talking about the conditions in this tournament.
02:41Apparently, the teams are being required to warm up indoors
02:46instead of on the pitch because of field conditions,
02:49but, you know, I think this is a very strange policy
02:53that the tournament is enforcing.
02:55This is something that, I don't know, maybe you wouldn't see on the men's side.
02:58You don't see on the men's side of Copa America,
03:01so this is a critique of the way that Ecuador is being the host of the tournament.
