00:00This is absolutely a first for us. It's the first time our aircraft's been away from Kemble.
00:04It's the first time we've demonstrated an A to B flight. We've bought the VX4 prototype,
00:10this wonderful aircraft, to Riat at RAF Fairford where it's going to be on static display in front
00:17of around about a quarter of a million people. We took off from Cotswold Airport at Kemble,
00:29it's a really beautiful day. With our chase aircraft providing photo and telemetry support flying across
00:44the Cotswolds over the open countryside. We joined downwind at Fairford and you can see day one of
00:51arrival today, it's really busy on air traffic, you can see that from 10 miles away. There were quite
00:56a lot of enthusiasts outside the wire pointing their cameras upwards and you could almost hear
01:00the what is that? Wheels down. I'm taxiing in to park past all the military aircraft, civil aircraft,
01:09just incredible to be here today. This is kind of a big deal for Riat, the first time they've had an
01:13electric aircraft fly in and they've been really great in enabling this to happen and to help us
01:19show the future of electric aviation. Getting here today has pretty much involved the whole company
01:25from the comms and media team through to the airworthiness team, the CAA themselves, hugely
01:30supportive in getting us here. The battery team, the telemetry team, the whole flight test team to
01:36plan the event then especially the build team and everyone is really pulled together to help us
01:41show the world the VX4 in the wild for the first time.
