Legenda apie Očį – tai paslaptingas nuotykių filmas apie Juri, paauglę mergaitę, gyvenančią Karpatų saloje prie Juodosios jūros. Kaimo gyventojai bijo keistų būtybių – očių, bet Juri ryžtasi sulaužyti taisykles ir slapta išgelbėja sužeistą oči jauniklį. Keliaudama per laukinius miškus ir kalvas, Juri atranda, kad očiai nėra pavojingi, o taikūs, tik žmonių nesuprasti padarai. Grįžusi ji tampa kaimo ir očių taikos tarpininke, drąsiai stoja prieš savo tėvą Maksimą ir atskleidžia paslaptis apie šeimą ir save.
