00:00My favorite tips for fighting inflation and getting good deals remain the same and it's my
00:06favorite thing to talk about. So my first trick is Google Flights and Google Flights Explore.
00:10You put in your home airport and Google Flights Explore, it will show you the cheapest destinations
00:15within the United States and around the world. So it's got an interactive map, you can zoom in and
00:19out. And then Google Flights actually lets you set flight alerts. So even if you already booked,
00:24set a Google Flight Alert. If the price drops for that flight, you can get a trip credit for
00:28the difference. So the airlines are being much more flexible about giving you credits now.
00:32So that's a great tool that I always tell people about. Don't sleep on airline vacation packages.
00:37Amazing deals can be had when you book airfare, hotels, car rentals, and even sometimes activities
00:45into one bundle. I've saved 40% on booking business class trips to places like Berlin,
00:51staying at five-star hotels, and saved thousands of dollars, literally saved thousands of dollars
00:57through American Airlines Vacation. So sometimes those vacation packages can store you some really
01:03good deals. You'll have to shop around a little bit, but that's a great hack that I like to use.
01:08And then finally, subscribe to sites like The Points Guy. We have a daily newsletter. We send out
01:12deal alerts. But there are deal alert companies specifically that will alert you when there's good
01:17deals. And there has been so many this year. Even for last-minute summer travel, sites like
01:22Going and Thrifty Traveler are great subscription services. They will email you. There's free
01:28versions of both sites. So make sure you're subscribing to a few of those too.
