Milo Manheim & Meg Donnelly Say Goodbye to Zombies

The original Zombies cast is passing on the torch. More than seven years after the first Disney Channel original movie debuted in February 2018, the franchise is back with its fourth film, Zombies 4: Dawn of the Vampires.  Though a handful of familiar faces make an appearance in the movie, including Milo Manheim, Meg Donnelly, Chandler Kinney and Kylee Russell, the film loosely serves as a revamp for the franchise as a whole new set of characters and creatures are introduced. For stars Manheim and Donnelly, who also serve as executive producers on the project, they tell PEOPLE the film felt like a final “goodbye” for their beloved characters Zed and Addison.

00:00honestly i guess i feel the same way that i felt about every other zombies movie which was that

00:04this is the last one for us like goodbye having said that who knows i am here to aid the zombies

00:11universe however that may be me and meg will absolutely be a part of this franchise

00:16in its entire existence moving forward at least behind the camera um but you know we'll see where

00:22the story takes us but it is a very nice goodbye if this is goodbye for us yeah yeah especially

00:27that last song was just really sweet moment between the two of them when you were reading

00:31that did it feel like oh wow this was like just a great way to kind of wrap everything in a bow for

00:36these characters that you've been with for so long yes i'm really happy that it felt like that to you

00:41as well because that was our hope when we were reading it and we that we were obviously very

00:46excited to shoot that part and we also had a lot of input around that part as well and how we wanted

00:53to do that um but um so many people have brought that up which really makes me so happy because

00:58i wanted that to be memorable it was a very memorable uh shooting day for me
