00:23Ma'am, ano po yung mga pangunahing layunin nitong MSME One Expo 2025
00:28at bakit ito mahalaga para sa mga micro, small and medium enterprises
00:32lalo na sa mga homegrown brands ng Cagayan de Oro City at Miss Amis Oriental.
00:37Yes.
00:37Asa kueng, ang MSME One or Opportunity Network or Exhibit Expo 2025,
00:43isa po yung opportunity para sa ating mga local entrepreneurs
00:47na makapagbenta po sa kanilang mga products and services in a separate venue,
00:52separate po sa kanilang mga established businesses.
00:55And so, ang MSME One Expo po is organized by DTI Miss Amis Oriental.
01:01That's a provincial trade fair.
01:03And since 2022, sa Cagayan de Oro City po namin yan kino-conduct.
01:08But right now, in 2025, we challenged ourselves.
01:11DTI Miss Amis Oriental chartered into a new territory.
01:15So, ang trade fair po natin ngayon ay nasa 1 Ayala sa Makati.
01:19That's on July 17 to 19.
01:21And given po kasi that Makati is one of the business districts sa Pilipinas,
01:27so we're hoping na with this new avenue,
01:29mabibigyan natin ng more exposure ang ating mga participating MSMEs
01:34para sa kanilang mga products and services.
01:36So, ma'am, ano po yung tema nitong MSME One Expo 2025?
01:40Tsaka ilan pong mga negosyante mula sa Region 10 yung lalahok sa Expo?
01:44At ano po yung mga produkto at servisyo na kanilang itinatampo?
01:48Yes po.
01:49So, yung tema po natin this year is scaling new markets,
01:52bringing the MSME Expo,
01:55bringing the MSME One Expo to the metro.
01:58So, meron po tayong 26 participating MSMEs from Cagayan de Oro City
02:02and Misamis Oriental.
02:04And iba't iba po yung mga produkto natin na dinadala sa ating mga MSMEs
02:08to cater also the different needs ng ating market.
02:11So, for example, we have food products.
02:13Meron po tayong mga frozen products,
02:15mga snack items, condiments.
02:17And then, kung non-food po,
02:19meron po tayong stoneware pottery,
02:21meron po tayong mga accessories,
02:24and then we also have fashion,
02:26mga handmade bags, beauty products.
02:28Also pala for food products,
02:29meron po pala tayong mga cacao,
02:31so, coconut yung mga chocolates natin,
02:34and of course, coffee,
02:35kasi malakas din po sa coffee and coconut products,
02:37Amisamis Oriental at Cagayan de Oro City.
02:39So, lahat ng iyan na banggit ninyo,
02:41may representative doon sa Expo?
02:44Yes po, yes po.
02:45So, the 26 MSMEs po na participating natin sa ating Expo,
02:49meron po sa kanila mga iba't-ibang products.
02:52So, ma'am, paano nyo po hinihikayat yung mga MSMEs na makilock sa Expo,
02:57lalo na yung mga bagong negosyo?
02:58May mga nagsasanay po ba?
03:00Or yung mga pa-seminar kayo na isinasagawa bago sumali sa Expo
03:04para din ihanda yung mga kalahok dito?
03:06Kasi syempre, hindi naman yan yung biglang sasali na lang
03:09na hindi dumaan sa training at sa mga pangangasiwa ninyo.
03:13Yes, that's correct as a quen.
03:14So, first, in-encourage po talaga namin yung mga either aspiring
03:18or existing na entrepreneurs to visit the DTI,
03:22nearest DTI office or negosyo center.
03:24So, sa Region 10 po, complete po tayong negosyo centers
03:27in every municipality and city.
03:30So, meron po tayong mga business counselors in DTI and negosyo centers
03:34para po ma-assess natin ano ba yung need ng ating MSME
03:38para mabigyan din natin sila ng sapat na support.
03:43So, we have different programs and services,
03:45whether it be mentoring, product development,
03:49every step of the way po, andyan po si DTI sa entrepreneurial journey
03:53ng ating mga MSMEs.
03:54Okay, Sir Melvin naman, para po sa inyo,
03:57ano po yung bilang exhibitor sa MSME,
04:00ano po yung inyong mga produkto na itinatampok ngayon,
04:04at saka ano po yung lugar sa inyong probinsya?
04:08Good afternoon po.
04:09I'm Melvin Fabelio naman of MC Coffee.
04:12So, kape yung produkto namin ngayon for MC One.
04:16And we're bringing single-origin coffee.
04:19So, this is from Misamisi Rintel,
04:22and also another one from Bukidnon.
04:24So, we are very proud na nakasali din kami for this year's MSC One Expo.
04:31Ito pa na ma'am, dala-dala ko yung produkto namin.
04:34Ito yung coffee namin from Misamisi Rintel and Bukidnon.
04:40And this is homegrown.
04:42We have our own farm.
04:43And this is the product that we are displaying sa Expo ngayon.
04:50So, sir, ano yung kaibahan ng kape ninyo sa iba?
04:53Sa merkado, ano po yung kwento sa likod ng inyong produkto?
04:57Ano po ibig sabihin ng MC?
04:59MC comes from my name, Melvin,
05:02and my wife's name, Christine.
05:04So, MC Coffee.
05:05Actually, we are bean-to-brew na coffee.
05:09So, we have our own farm in Bukidnon.
05:12We roast our own coffee.
05:13We process it.
05:15We package it.
05:16And kami din ang nagbibenta.
05:18We also have our shop na kung saan we usually join trade fairs and bazaars.
05:26And we make our own coffee concoctions.
05:28So, maraming mga coffee farms dun sa Bukidnon, ano?
05:31Marami po.
05:32And also from Misamisi Oriental.
05:34Marami na din po.
05:35So, kumusta naman po yung karanasan ninyo ngayong taon bilang exhibitor dito sa MSME One Expo?
05:41Ano yung mga inaasahan ninyo at paghahanda?
05:44At first time po ba kayong sumali dito sa ganitong expo?
05:46Actually po, we're very excited to join.
05:48Kasi nabanggit nga ni Ms. Julie, this is our first time to have an expo here in Makati.
05:54So, first time namin na maka-join here sa Makati na Expo.
05:58And we are very excited to meet people here, lalo na from the whole of Manila.
06:06If they can go and visit us sa One Ayala, we're excited to showcase our own products naman, especially the coffee.
06:15Kay ma'am ulit, meron po ba mga business matching sessions o investment forums na isinasagawa para matulungan yung MSMEs na magkaroon ng partners o investors?
06:24Of course, halimbawa kung copycacer, baka meron silang pwede niyong i-match na partner sa sugar business naman or sa creamer, di ba?
06:33Para may ganun parang 3-in-1.
06:35Yes po. Sa MSME One Expo, meron po din tayo yung tinatawag na business-to-business activities para po ma-facilitate natin ang engagement ng mga MSMEs and yung mga potential na institutional buyers.
06:48So, para po ito magkaroon ng significant na collaboration, para makasecure po tayo ng mga bulk orders,
06:54and para po maka-establish ng distribution channels beyond the existing channels sa ating mga MSMEs.
07:01But aside sa MSME One Expo, asekweng, si DTI po through our regional and provincial offices, meron po tayong mga investment forums na kinokonduct,
07:10mga franchising fora and other participation sa other trade fairs para po talaga ma-widen and meron po talaga tayong business matching opportunities para sa ating mga MSMEs.
07:20Sa lahat po yan ng produkto?
07:22Yes po. Para po sa lahat ng produkto.
07:24So, ma'am, pagkatapos po nitong Expo, anong mga follow-up programs ang inilaan ng DTI sa Region 10 para naman matulungan yung paglago na mga nagnilegosyo doon, lalo mga nagsisimula pa lang?
07:35Yes. Ang patuloy naman po ang DTI sa pagbibigay ng mga programs and services natin para sa ating mga aspiring and existing entrepreneurs.
07:43So, that is in line with the five priority MSME agenda ng ating DTI Secretary ni si Ma'am Christina Roque.
07:50So, that's on digitalization, diversification, franchising, access to finance and even mentoring.
07:58So, iba't iba po yung mga programa natin depende po sa needs ng ating MSMEs.
08:02Okay, Sir Melvin ulit. Para po sa inyong produkto, anong po yung mga plano ninyo para mapalago pa inyong coffee products pagkatapos po nitong Expo?
08:11So, after this will be our processing na po ng FDA LTO. Sa ngayon, wala pa kaming FDA LTO.
08:20But then after this, we are ready already to process it.
08:24And with that, I hope we can already distribute our products through the different supermarkets all over the country.
08:33Kailan niyo po ba sinimulan nitong MC Coffee?
08:35I started it way back 2020 when I retired from the bank. Early retirement po.
08:43So, after the corporate life, I joined the business community and I'm so glad that I was able to go directly to DTI.
08:52Kasi sila yung tumulong sa akin sa transition ko bilang a corporate person to a businessman.
08:59So, ano po yung inaasahan niyo, Sir, pagkatapos nitong Expo? May mga bagong produkto ba kayong ihahanda o ilalabas?
09:06Kung halimbawang magkaroon ng matching na may mahanap na ibang MSME din na pwede po ninyo maging kapartner dito sa MC Coffee?
09:14Yes, this afternoon and probably tomorrow, there's a business matching event naman for this Expo.
09:22And I'm also excited to meet institutional buyers, no?
09:26So, if we can, you know, have a contract or a purchase order naman, mas maparami namin yung production namin.
09:36And for next year, this year actually, we're also planning to build a coffee shop sa Kagayan di Oro po.
09:44So, maybe that would just be a start. And I'm very grateful for different government institutions po.
09:53Like DTI, andyan si Dole, andyan si SB Corp.
09:57We were able to get financing grants na assistance din galing from these government institutions na necessary for us to start a coffee shop talaga.
10:08So, at least, meron kayong ganong vision na magpatayo. So, anong itataw nyo doon, MC Coffee din? Parang, my coffee.
10:16Yeah. Parang, ang ganda ng pakinggan, ano?
10:20Oo. Okay, sir, ma'am, mensahin nyo lang po sa ating mga kababayan o paanyaya tungkol dito sa MSME 1 Expo 2025.
10:29Baka gusto ninyong mag-invite din or, syempre, mag-encourage na mag-negosyo din doon sa mga taga-Region 10.
10:36Sige po. In behalf of our DTI 10 Regional Director po na si RD Ruel Paklipan with his assistance, Sir Anthony,
10:44and of course, ang ating Provincial Director sa DTI Misamis Oriental, si PD Jesse Abiar, gusto lang po namin magpasalamat sa panahon na binigay nyo for the MSME 1 Expo.

11:23Yes, hindi madali magnegosyo, alam natin yan.
11:29But if you, you know, go directly to DTI, after maybe you're going to avail of an early retirement also,
11:37you go directly to DTI, they will be able to guide you kung paano magnegosyo.
11:43So, yun lang, para naman na hindi tayo mahirapan mag-start ng business.
11:49So, dapat yung tamang direksyon?
