00:00Finish this sentence. For you, it's not summer without this.
00:08Golf.
00:11Big golfer?
00:12Now I am, yeah. Two years running.
00:16Well, this is the final season. A lot of people don't want to see this show end,
00:20but walk me through that final table read or maybe those last few days on set.
00:25I mean, I don't know if this has really hit any of us yet.
00:30Especially our last few days on set were very anticlimactic.
00:35I think I shot one of the last scenes, but we were delayed like five days
00:39because there was a hurricane coming in and they needed equipment to film this scene
00:43that they couldn't get shipped because there was weather and blah, blah, blah.
00:47All that to say, you know, I don't think things always go out with a bang.
00:52Did you do a big cast party?
00:54I think there was a cast party, but most people had already left.
00:58It was such a fizzle.
01:00Well, this will be it. This will be the big cast.
01:01This is our wrap party, yeah.
01:03Do you think fans will be satisfied with whatever choice Belly makes in the end?
01:08I hope so.
01:09I hope people can lean into the story as a whole
01:14and look at the arc of how these characters interact
01:17and the choices they make and decide that it ends in the right place.
01:21This is such a passionate fan base.
01:24There's always a lot of discourse between Team Jeremiah, Team Conrad.
01:28What do you make of all the discourse?
01:30Because I know the show itself put out an anti-bullying statement before the season was released.
01:34I mean, I think it's really cool to have people care enough and have teams and have t-shirts about that.
01:41I mean, that's sort of become like a trope in young adult movies and TV, like Team Whatever, Team Whatever.
01:49I think sometimes people can take it too far and people can treat actors as if they have more power over the situation
02:03or as if they are acting as their characters do.
02:06And I think that's just a little ignorant to the work that goes into this.
02:11Like, if you hate a character that's wonderful, we've done our job, you know?
02:16It doesn't mean you need to come for them.
02:18So I think I'm grateful that they put that statement out.
02:22Reminder to be kinder online.
02:24Yeah, of course. We all need that reminder, yeah.
02:27I know no one wants to see this show end.
02:28Could you see it come back in the form of a spinoff or a movie event?
02:33I don't know.
02:33Well, I mean, it's Jenny's story.
02:37I've always said that I wanted us to get three seasons because that's the arc of the books.
02:42And I think these characters' arcs aren't complete without that whole story.
02:46And we got our third season, and I feel really grateful for where we are.
02:51But at the end of the day, it's Jenny's story and her decision.
