The bridge bears 30, mostly Baroque, statues. Most were created between 1683 and 1714. They depict various patron saints of that period. The most famous sculptors of the time participated in the decoration of the bridge. Among the most famous statues are those depicting the Crucified, Saint Liutgard, Saint John of Nepomuk, Saint Vitus, Saints Barbara, Marina and Elizabeth, and others. Starting in 1965, all statues have been systematically replaced by copies, and the originals are exhibited in the lapidarium of the Czech National Museum.
