US Attorney General Pam Bondi on July 15 defended her handling of the declassification of files related to the late Jeffrey Epstein's sexual exploitation case, saying that she is going to the AG as long as the President wants her amid an uproar over the issue among the Make America Great Again supporters' base.

President Donald Trump said Bondi had handled the case well and disclose only credible information in the files while he supports transparency in the case.

00:00It is an honor to introduce the Attorney General of the United States, Pam Bondi.
00:09And are people still talking about this guy, this creep?
00:13That is unbelievable. Do you want to waste the time? Do you feel like answering?
00:19I don't mind answering. I mean, I can't believe you're asking a question on Epstein at a time like this.
00:30He said that he would support you releasing additional, credible evidence from the Epstein investigation.
00:41Is that something that you are open to doing?
00:43Let me take that first. This today is about fentanyl.
00:48This is about a wall of people right outside this room who have died from...
00:53I appreciate your question, but this today is about fentanyl overdoses throughout our country.
00:59And people who have lost loved ones to fentanyl.
01:02That's the message that we're here to send today.
01:04Nothing about Epstein. I'm not going to talk about Epstein.
01:07Go ahead.
01:08Madam Attorney General, on this matter of fentanyl, which is a priority, clearly,
01:13for the DEA, the Department of Justice, are you confident you're going to still be here to execute this
01:18because there's so many people calling for change at the Department of Justice?
01:22I'm going to be here for as long as the President wants me here,
01:25and I believe he's made that crystal clear. It's four years.
01:28Well, three and a half now, right? We've got six months in.
01:30It's been going very fast.
01:31It's been going very fast.
01:32Yeah, it feels like six years.
01:33Yeah, exactly.
01:34But I was with Director Patel this morning, and we are working on fighting violent crime.
01:38We are working on all these issues that we deeply care about to make America safe again
01:44and get these drugs off our streets.
01:46Is there disruption at the leadership of DOJ and the FBI with your relationship with Dan Bongino
01:52that is affecting the operation?
01:54No, I'm not going to talk about personnel matters. No.
01:57I was with Director Patel all morning, and we are committed to keeping America safe,
02:02making America safe, working with our incredible partners at DEA, FBI, ATF, U.S. Marshals,
02:11to do everything we can to make America safe, and that's what we're focused on.
02:16I wanted to follow up on that question.
02:17I think the American people have a lot of questions about your relationship
02:20with the Deputy FBI Director. Do you believe that he should stay in this role?
02:25I'm not going to discuss personnel matters.
02:27I think we all are committed to working together now to make America safe again,
02:31and that's what we're doing.
02:32The President said today you would release credible files related to Mr. Epstein.
02:36Are you prepared to do that, and when would you?
02:39Our memo, today our memo speaks for itself, and we'll get back to you on anything else.
02:44I haven't seen all of his statements today. Thank you.
02:47How would you respond to the MAGA base that has expressed a lot of frustration about him?
02:51We're going to fight to keep America safe again, and we're fighting together as a team.
02:56That's what's so important right now.
02:59Mr. President, your daughter-in-law said that this is a decision for his parents to be here.
03:06Do you agree with this, sir?
03:08The Attorney General has handled that very well.
03:11She is — she's really done a very good job.
03:15And I think that when you look at it, you'll understand that.
03:18I would like to see that also.
03:20But I think the Attorney General — the credibility is very important.
03:24And you want credible evidence for something like that.
03:27And I think the Attorney General has handled it very well.
03:30Our đã Sentenzel living on the Co-Round.
03:31I'm honored, and to be in a certain honesty, do you agree general about what he did you do?
03:33On what? On the —
03:34On the —
03:35On the DOJ and —
03:36On what? On what subject?
03:37Okay.
03:38Exactly.
03:39On the duration of the review of the file, which is when somebody came on until she'd
03:41you get her.
03:42A very — a very quick briefing, yeah.
03:43The team—
03:44Does she tell you — when she'd got you to take us on the称 entender.
03:46specifically, did she tell you at all that you're
03:48being a peer in those files?
03:50The President- No, no.
03:51She's given us just a very quick briefing.
03:55And in terms of the credibility of the
03:57different things that they've seen.
03:59And I would say that, you know, these files were
04:01made up by Comey.
04:03They were made up by Obama.
04:05They were made up by the Biden information.
04:07You know, and we went through years of that
04:10with the Russia, Russia, Russia hoax, with all of
04:14the different things that we had to go
04:15through, we've gone through years of it.
04:17But she's handled it very well.
04:19And it's going to be up to her.
04:20Whatever she thinks is credible, she should release.
04:23Yeah.
04:24The President- Since the announcement-
04:25The President- What's on the deal with plans?
04:27Mr. President- Mr. President.
