“This is not how democracy works”: RJD’s Manoj Jha slams ‘SIR’ exercise in Bihar

New Delhi, July 15, 2025 (ANI): On the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) Exercise of Electoral Rolls in Bihar, RJD MP Manoj Kumar Jha said, "... Without mutual discussion and participation, you have decided on someone's instructions that this has to be completed. This is not how democracy and the constitutional institutions work. The LoP is in constant touch and we are also waiting for the court hearing. This is a chaotic situation... They created chaos... They are poor people, Dalits, backward and Muslims... Those poor people kept roaming here and there. This is not an elite 'tantra' or it is not just a 'tantra', it has 'Lok' in it and 'Lok' (people) has to be respected..."
