00:00A player to hit the longest home run is one.
00:04O'Neal Cruz, of course, is the favorite there.
00:06He's hit some real moonshots this year.
00:09But, look, there's probably some value down at the bottom
00:12with some of those guys with bigger numbers.
00:14You never know.
00:15All these guys can crank it, as you were saying before the break.
00:19So I know that Cruz and Wood got the, you know, they're the exit velo guys.
00:23But anybody can hit a deep shot at any time.
00:27Over under the amount of home runs in the night is 240 and a half.
00:32I mean, honestly, you know, you're kind of, you're throwing a dart with that one,
00:38to be quite honest with you.
00:39Well, look, I think your guy Wood can hit a bomb.
00:43And I think those two guys are the choice.
00:45I think that we've seen them both hit these enormous shots
00:49and with the exit velocity.
00:51So I'd be willing to bet on either one of them, Cruz or Wood.
00:55And I brought this up, too, while you were away before.
00:59And let me get your thoughts on this quickly.
01:01I was saying that it's very important also to kind of see who's pitching to these guys.
01:07Because sometimes that makes a very big difference.
01:10There's been a lot of information that's been put out there about this today.
01:14You know, you got like Cal Raleigh.
01:15You know, he's got his dad coming in to pitch.
01:17I don't know how often his dad throws to him.
01:19Jazz has his stepdad coming in to pitch for him.
01:22Whereas guys like Buxton and Wood have, like, coaches on the team
01:26who pitch to them all the time in batting practice, doing it with them.
01:30You know, it sounds like it's not that big a deal.
01:34I agree.
01:35I think that that, you know, I'm sure.
01:37Listen, Cal Raleigh's dad, I'm sure, has been throwing to him all his life.
01:40But not in batting practice every day before the game when he's cranking over.
01:46Or in a stressful environment like this.
01:50This is pressure, stress, big time, television, millions of people watching.
01:57I'm sure, like, look, I've thrown out two first pitches, right?
02:02I did it in the Homer Dome, and I did it at Hard Rock.
02:05And both times I did it, I have to tell you, unequivocally, I was nervous,
02:12and I was very slick, sweaty hands when I got the ball.
02:17I was basically shaking in my boots.
02:20I don't know how some father can show up on national television
02:25in front of millions of people and just throw strikes to this kid.
02:30Now, I guess the proof's in the pudding.
02:32We'll see tonight.
02:32But I trust guys that do it every day at BP over some dad coming in to do it.
02:40I got to tell you, to be honest with you.
02:43Yeah, and his brother's catching him.
02:46His 15-year-old brother's going to be behind the plate.
02:48His mom's in the outfield.
02:50I'm just saying, there's some guys that are there for the moment
02:56and spending it with their family.
02:57And Cal Raleigh's been an absolute monster this year.
03:00He might go out and hit 70 home runs tonight.
03:02I'm not telling you he's not.
03:04But then I think there's other guys who are there for the money,
03:08and they want to win.
03:09Like, you know, I feel like, you know,
03:12telling you that Caminero's going to make more tonight
03:14than he would in his entire contract this year if he wins,
03:18you know, I think that's going to take it a little more seriously.
03:21Just one guy.
03:23I think it's first and second.
03:25So it's a million, I think, for first.
03:27And the runner-up, I think, gets, you know, $500,000.
03:31Making the finals is worth money to a lot.
03:33Now, Matt Olsen makes $22 million this year.
03:36Does he care?
03:37You know, listen, a million's a million.
03:39You could put a little extension on the house with a million,
03:41no matter how much money you make.
03:42You know, that's one thing, bud.
03:45With a million dollars.
03:46You could do a little more than that.
03:48You can get another house for a million.
03:50You can go buy yourself a little vacation house somewhere.
