00:00Today, I invite you to reflect on a question that has echoed in the hearts of seekers for
00:05centuries, a question that may have stirred quietly within you too. Is there truly a hidden,
00:12invisible eye within our being, a spiritual eye, that once awakened can grant us a direct
00:18vision of the divine? Is the third eye merely a mystical idea told in ancient scriptures and
00:24legends, or is it a real, experiential gateway that opens through deep meditation and inner
00:30awakening? Across millennia, saints, yogis, and enlightened masters have spoken of a sacred
00:37center between the eyebrows, deep within the forehead, known as the ajna chakra, or the third
00:43eye. It is more than a poetic metaphor. It is believed to be the doorway to cosmic awareness,
00:49a portal that connects the individual soul with the boundless spirit of the universe.
00:54This eye is not made of flesh and bone. It does not see the material world. Instead,
01:00it reveals what lies beyond this world, the truths unseen, the divine light that underlies all
01:06creation. When awakened through mantra, breath, and focused awareness, this spiritual eye begins
01:13to stir. The seeker no longer remains bound by the senses. Instead, they glimpse the higher
01:19dimensions of existence, the inner sky of light and sound, peace and unity. But is opening this
01:26third eye truly as difficult as it is made out to be? Must one renounce the world, meditate
01:32in icy caves, or receive rare secret initiations from Himalayan masters?
01:37Paramahansa Yogananda, a great spiritual teacher of the twentieth century, offered a revolutionary
01:43message, that the path to divine vision lies within each of us, and that this door opens
01:50not through outer ritual, but through inner silence and focused awareness. He taught that
01:55when the mind becomes still, when the breath is calm, and when the gaze rests gently at the
02:01spiritual center between the eyebrows, combined with the vibration of a powerful mantra, then
02:07the inner eye begins to open of its own accord. And in this video, I will share with you that
02:13very mantra. The method, the energy, and the deep spiritual science behind this awakening,
02:21all of which were shared by Yogananda with love and clarity. This path is not reserved for
02:26monks or mystics alone. It is open to all who carry sincere devotion in their hearts,
02:33no matter their age, background, or outer life situation. If you walk with faith, if you practice
02:38with love, you will begin to see and feel a light that has always been present within you. You will hear
02:45sounds not made by the world, and you will feel a stillness deeper than sleep, richer than any worldly
02:51joy. So come, dear one. Let us walk together through this sacred journey, because this moment
02:58may become the most divine hour of your life. When the universe was born, humanity was gifted with two
03:06eyes to behold the outer world, its beauty, its colors, its changing forms. Through these eyes,
03:13we learn, explore, and experience life on earth. But the ancient sages revealed a deeper truth.
03:19Hidden within us lies a third center of vision, an invisible eye, not made of flesh, but of energy
03:27and consciousness. It cannot be seen in a mirror, nor studied in a laboratory. Yet, it is the most
03:34sacred window through which the soul glimpses its eternal home. This inner eye is often referred to as
03:41the third eye, and in yogic tradition as the ajna chakra. It sits in the center of the forehead,
03:48precisely between the eyebrows, behind the skin and bone, in a realm not physical but vibrational.
03:54The word ajna means command or authority, because this center governs the mind, the senses, and our
04:01inner vision. It is here that the higher self gives guidance. It is from this point that spiritual
04:07intuition flows. According to Paramahansa Yogananda, this spiritual eye is not only real,
04:13it is the true eye of the soul. The physical eyes die with the body, but the third eye connects us
04:20with eternity. Through it, we can perceive the divine, not as an idea but as an experience.
04:26As one begins to focus inwardly at this point, the ordinary world begins to fade. In deep meditation,
04:33a new landscape emerges, one of light, energy, and silence. The opening of this eye is not the product
04:40of imagination. It is the result of subtle transformation that comes from inner discipline.
04:46And when this center awakens, the seeker no longer sees with eyes of flesh, but with the eye of spirit.
04:53One begins to see a soft light between the brows, sometimes golden, sometimes deep blue or violet.
04:59Then comes a shift, a gentle vibration, a pulsing energy, a sensation of being drawn inward.
05:06And then something more, a sound, not heard through the ears but from within, a distant yet familiar
05:14hum, a sacred vibration. The ancient scriptures called it the Anahat Nada, the sound that has no
05:22beginning and no end. Some hear it as a deep om, others as a bell, a flute, or a flowing river of energy.
05:30It is the cosmic signal that the soul has entered the inner sanctuary, and this, dear listener,
05:35is the first true step towards spiritual awakening, not through belief, but through direct perception.
05:42This is the purpose of all meditation traditions, to still the noise of the outer world and tune into
05:48the infinite silence within. Yogananda said, when you fix your attention at the point between the
05:54eyebrows with calm devotion and chant a sacred mantra with love, the inner light reveals itself,
06:01and the doorway to God begins to open. This is not a fantasy. It is a lived reality,
06:09and one that thousands of sincere seekers across the world have begun to taste. If the third eye is a
06:15sacred doorway, then the mantra is the key that gently turns the lock. Paramahansa Yogananda,
06:21in his deep compassion for spiritual seekers, revealed a powerful yet simple mantra, a vibrational
06:28formula that carries the energy to awaken the spiritual eye. That mantra is Om Hrim Kleem Chamundai
06:36Vichce. This is not just a string of exotic syllables. Each sound is a carrier of immense spiritual power.
06:44Let's explore its deeper meaning Om. This is the primordial sound, the sacred vibration that underlies all
06:50creation. It is the hum of the universe, the original word, the silent pulse from which everything arises.
06:58When you chant Om, your body vibrates, and that vibration travels directly to the point between
07:03your eyebrows, awakening subtle energy. Hrim. This is the seed syllable of the heart.
07:12It stirs spiritual feeling, purity, and devotion. It clears emotional heaviness and prepares the soul
07:19for communion with higher consciousness. Kleem. This is the sound of attraction. Not worldly attraction,
07:27but a divine magnetism that draws spiritual energy inward. It helps the seeker become a vessel for grace.
07:34Chamundai Vichce. These sounds symbolize the destruction of inner negativity and the awakening of
07:40fierce spiritual clarity. They invoke the energy that protects, purifies, and uplifts. When spoken together,
07:48this mantra acts like a torch in the dark corridors of the subconscious mind. It awakens the soul from its
07:55long sleep. Yogananda taught that when you chant this mantra, while focusing your attention gently at the
08:02third eye center, between the eyebrows, you are not merely repeating words. You are calling upon the force
08:08of the universe itself to illuminate you from within. He emphasized that anyone can practice this,
08:15regardless of age, background, or spiritual experience. But like all powerful tools, this mantra
08:21works best when used with sincerity, focus, and the right method. You don't need to be in a temple or
08:27retreat center to use it. Your room can become a sanctuary. Your body, a temple, your breath, a bridge to the
08:34divine. And if you follow the proper technique, keeping your gaze still, your breath calm, and your
08:39heart open, this mantra begins to open doors that you never knew existed. What begins as a sound becomes
08:46an experience. What starts as repetition turns into transformation. And in that stillness, you begin to
08:54feel what Yogananda called the soul's native joy. Let us now understand how to chant this mantra correctly,
09:01so that it becomes not just a sound, but a sacred path that leads directly to the inner light.
09:08A sacred mantra carries immense power, but only when practiced with care, devotion, and the right method.
09:15The wisdom of Paramahansa Yogananda was not just in what he taught, but how simply he taught it.
09:22He understood that truth should not remain locked in ancient texts or hidden behind secret traditions.
09:29It must be brought into the hearts and lives of everyday people. So if you truly want to awaken
09:34your third eye, this divine center between the eyebrows, you must approach the practice with
09:39discipline, patience, and spiritual reverence. Let us now walk through the complete method step by step.
09:47First, choose a quiet and clean space where you will not be disturbed. This space does not have to be a
09:54temple. It could be a corner of your bedroom, a peaceful spot in your living room, or even a seat
10:00near a window where sunlight gently falls. The important thing is that it feels sacred to you.
10:07Yogananda often emphasized the power of repetition. When you meditate in the same place daily,
10:12that spot begins to absorb spiritual energy. Over time, it becomes charged with calmness,
10:19and simply sitting there brings a sense of peace. So let this space become your personal sanctuary.
10:25The best times to meditate are early morning, during the sacred hours before sunrise, or late at night,
10:33after the world has fallen silent. These windows, known in yogic tradition as Brahma Muhurta,
10:38are filled with natural harmony. Your body is rested, your mind is less noisy, and the veil between
10:45the outer world and inner world becomes thin. Now sit comfortably. If you can, use a posture like
10:53Padmasana or Sukhasana, cross-legged on the floor. But if sitting that way brings discomfort,
11:00it's perfectly fine to sit on a chair with your back upright. What matters most is that your spine is
11:06straight and your body is relaxed. Let your hands rest on your knees or in your lap. Close your eyes
11:12gently. Now, with your eyes closed, bring your inner gaze to the space between your eyebrows.
11:18Don't strain. Don't cross your eyes. Just gently shift your awareness to that center.
11:24This is the third eye, the Ajna Chakra.
11:27It is not a physical point. It is a portal of perception. Once your gaze is set inward, begin to
11:34repeat the mantra softly, slowly, and rhythmically.
11:39Om Hrim Klim Chamunday Vichce.
11:42Let each syllable carry your attention deeper. As you chant, feel the vibration of the words travel
11:48upward from your chest to your throat to your head, and finally settle in the forehead.
11:54Imagine the sound becoming a beam of energy, focused like a laser at the spiritual center.
12:01You may speak the mantra aloud at first, but as your mind grows quiet, allow the words to flow
12:07mentally in silence. You can repeat the mantra using a mala of 108 beads, or simply chant it
12:14internally for 5, 10, or 15 minutes. What's important is not how many times you say it,
12:19but how deeply you feel it. Let each repetition become a whisper from your soul to the divine.
12:25If your mind wanders, and it will, gently bring your attention back, again and again.
12:32The mind is like a restless child. With love and patience, it learns to sit still.
12:38Now, after you've finished chanting, do not rush to open your eyes. Sit quietly. Continue focusing on
12:46the point between your brows. Allow the afterglow of the mantra to spread inside you. This is often
12:53the moment when visions, lights, or subtle sounds begin to arise. You may see colors, golden, blue, or
13:01violet lights forming in your inner field of vision. You may feel a tingling or pulsing sensation between
13:06the eyebrows. You may hear a sound from within, a hum, a bell, a soft wind. These are not
13:13hallucinations. They are the language of the soul. They are signs that the doorway is beginning to
13:19open. With time and continued practice, this door opens wider, the lights become clearer,
13:24the silence becomes deeper, and the presence of the divine becomes unmistakably real.
13:31Yogananda often reminded his students, true prayer and meditation begin when the body disappears,
13:36and only awareness remains. The goal is not to chase visions, but to enter the state where the ego
13:42melts and only the soul remains, united with its source. This is the path of the third eye,
13:50a path not of superstition, but of sacred science, a path not of escape from life, but of deepening
13:56life, not by turning away from the world, but by seeing it through the eyes of truth. If you practice
14:03with sincerity, something extraordinary begins to happen. The mantra becomes more than sound,
14:08the silence becomes more than absence, and the space between your eyebrows begins to open,
14:14not outward but inward. But what does it feel like when the third eye actually begins to awaken?
14:20This is one of the most important questions a seeker can ask. Because the inner path is subtle,
14:26many sincere people abandon their practice because they don't recognize the signs. They don't
14:33understand that the sacred is already whispering to them. So let us walk through the real experiences
14:38a meditator may encounter, and what each one means. The very first sensation is often vibration,
14:46a gentle tingling, a pulsing sensation between the eyebrows, or sometimes a wave of energy rising up the
14:52spine. This is the movement of life force energy, also known as prana, gathering at the ajna chakra.
14:59It is not imaginary, it is not dramatic, it is subtle, yet powerful. You may feel a warmth in the
15:06forehead, or a light pressure, as if something invisible is pressing inward. This is the first
15:11sign that the doorway is becoming active. Soon this sensation is followed by light. You may begin to see
15:18faint glimmers, like soft candlelight, or tiny stars flickering in the dark. Over time, these lights may
15:25take on color, deep blue, radiant gold, or luminous violet. These are not optical illusions, they are inner
15:32visions, expressions of your soul's contact with divine energy. Paramahansa Yogananda spoke often of a
15:40particular vision seen through the third eye, a golden ring encircling a deep blue circle, with a white
15:46five-pointed star in the center. This is known as the spiritual eye, or the eye of intuition. It is not a
15:53symbol. It is an actual perception that appears when consciousness reaches a higher state. To see this
15:59eye is to receive a personal invitation from the universe to step beyond the limits of mind and body
16:06and merge with spirit. Along with this light, many seekers begin to hear sounds, not with the ears,
16:13but deep within. This is known as the Anahatnada, the unstruck sound. It may come as a gentle hum,
16:20like a tuning fork, or a bell, a conch, a flute, or a rushing wind. Each person may hear it differently,
16:29depending on their state of inner refinement. But the purpose is always the same, to draw your
16:35awareness deeper toward the source of your being. As these visions and sounds increase, a deep sense
16:42of peace arises. It is not emotional stillness, it is spiritual stillness, a silence that is alive,
16:49as if the universe itself has become quiet just for you. This peace is beyond pleasure, beyond thought,
16:56beyond time. In it, all questions dissolve. You do not need to be told you are touching the divine,
17:04you know it, with every breath, with every heartbeat. Your soul remembers its origin.
17:10Yogananda often said, when a soul begins to taste this inner bliss, the outer world loses its grip,
17:16desires fade, attachments weaken, and the heart begins to long only for God. That longing is not
17:23sadness. It is the sacred calling of the soul returning to its eternal home. But let us be
17:29clear. These experiences are not the goal. They are signposts. Beautiful, yes, but the true destination
17:36is union. The moment when the small self disappears, and only consciousness remains, when I and thou become
17:44one. And so, if you ever feel the vibrations, if you ever see the light, if you ever hear the sacred
17:50sound, do not chase them. Do not get attached to them. Let them guide you, like stars in the night
17:56sky, toward your real home. And if you feel nothing for weeks or months, do not stop. Even when the
18:03clouds cover the sky, the sun still shines behind them. Faith, patience, love. These are the true keys
18:11to awakening. Dear seeker of truth, as we now approach the final stage of this sacred journey, there is one
18:19more essential aspect to understand. The path of awakening the third eye is indeed holy. But like all sacred
18:26paths, it requires not only dedication but also discernment. You see, just as fire can warm or burn, spiritual
18:34energy can uplift or mislead, if not approached with humility and understanding. So let us speak now of the
18:41safeguards, the sacred precautions. First and foremost, do not approach this practice with ego or ambition.
18:49The third eye is not a toy. It is not meant to give you powers to impress others or secrets to control
18:56the world. If your motivation is to gain mystical abilities, to see visions or to become special, then your
19:04intention will cloud the very eye you are trying to open. As Yogananda warned, the eye that opens with
19:10pride closes just as quickly. This path is not about showing the world something magical. It is about
19:17losing yourself in something eternal. So leave behind all hunger for fame, attention, or personal power.
19:25Let your only desire be to know truth, to feel God, to remember who you really are beneath all the layers
19:31of illusion. Second, never practice with half-hearted devotion. The third eye does not open in a day.
19:38You may sit in meditation for weeks, even months, and feel nothing at first. Many seekers become
19:45discouraged. They begin to believe they are not chosen or ready. But that's the illusion of the
19:51mind speaking. The soul is always ready. The only question is, will you wait for the door to open,
19:57or will you walk away just before the light dawns? Yogananda often said, God comes to those who love him
20:04longingly, patiently, without expectation, like a child waiting for his parent at the gate.
20:11So let your practice be filled with gentle persistence. Do not look for results, look for
20:16sincerity. Do not time your awakening, trust it. And third, be mindful of your environment and inner life.
20:25Once you begin this sacred sadhana, you are inviting subtle energies to rise within you.
20:30And just as a young plant needs clean soil, your practice needs a clean heart and pure surroundings.
20:37Spend time in silence. Limit exposure to violence, noise, negativity. Surround yourself with inspiring
20:44music, sacred texts, and the presence of truth seekers. Most importantly, be kind. Speak gently.
20:52Live honestly. The third eye does not open with force. It opens with love.
20:58And now, let me share with you a final and subtle truth. The third eye never opens through mechanical
21:05repetition alone. You may chant the mantra a thousand times, but if your heart is absent,
21:11it remains just sound. But when you chant with longing, when you call the divine like a lost child,
21:17cries for its mother, when you whisper the mantra not just from the tongue but from the soul,
21:22that's when the inner door begins to part. It is not about how loud your voice is. It is about how deep
21:29your love is. And one last reminder, dear seeker, never use this practice to impress, manipulate, or
21:36control others. This is not a tool of ego. It is not for fortune, or fame, or fear. This practice is a sacred
21:46offering. A light you carry back to the divine, a bridge from form to formless, from body to soul,
21:53from illusion to truth. Now, as we bring this journey to a close, I invite you to reflect.
22:00Today, you have not merely heard about the third eye. You have been handed the key to the door between
22:06your mind and eternity. This is not just knowledge. It is a sacred invitation. To live differently. To
22:14see deeper. To become the light that you seek. Yogananda taught that millions of seekers wander
22:20through lifetimes, searching for this path. You have found it. Now it's your turn to walk it.
22:27You don't need to wait for a new moon, a holy day, or a guru's blessing. The universe is already waiting.
22:33Tonight or tomorrow at dawn, sit down. Close your eyes and begin. Chant the mantra. Feel the vibration.
22:41Gaze within. And listen. The silence will speak. The light will come. And the divine will answer.
22:50And when that door opens, you will not be the same. Because once the eye of the soul opens,
22:56you never again live in darkness. If these words have touched your heart, then share this light with
23:02others. Let this be your offering. Not just to yourself, but to the world. And if you feel ready
23:09to walk this path with sincerity, type in the comments, Om Namah Shivaya, or I am ready. Not as a
23:17ritual, but as a promise to your soul. Because when one's soul awakens, others will follow. And slowly,
23:25gently, gently, beautifully. The whole world begins to awaken too. May your path be filled
23:32with peace. May your heart overflow with light. And may the eye of truth open within you, forever.
