00:00Hello I'm Nathan Judah and that my friend is Mr. Liam Keane and we are in the beautiful Algarve,
00:16Portugal. Pre-season again baby. Oh mate, he comes around quick doesn't he? We've got two models
00:20behind us. About as useful as you really aren't they? Pretty good, pretty decent in defence
00:24actually from training this morning. Yes we're here, we're back. We're going to be in Portugal,
00:29we're going to be in Spain, seven days here, first day at training today and look good
00:34to see Vitor, good to see some of the players back in action as well and there were lots
00:37of positives weren't there? Yeah definitely, considering that Wolves haven't been able
00:42to bring a lot of players in just yet, which we will come on to in a second, the atmosphere
00:46was pretty good amongst the players, it's a good sort of core group, a few youngsters in
00:49there and the atmosphere was good and Vitor seemed to be in good spirits, we had a brief
00:54chat with him off camera before everything got underway and yeah they were very generous
00:59with allowing us to have the run of the place really. Yeah absolutely, look I mean everybody
01:03wants more signings, we all want more signings, we'll maybe come on to that a little bit later
01:06on in this video, but in terms of the personnel that are here it's important for some of these
01:10players who haven't had a lot of action to prove their fitness, two of those players in particular
01:15being Sasha Kolajdic and Yusin Moskera. Yes both of them fully involved in this full session today.
01:22Full session? Full session, not any part of that session they didn't take part of, what we could
01:25see at least, and that is attacking drills, full length pitch drills, a very interesting four goal
01:33mini drill they did here. Very intimate game. Yeah a very intimate competitive game which we'll be
01:37writing a bit about as well and giving a bit more detail on, set pieces and everything as well,
01:41he was involved in all of it, both of them Moskera and Kolajdic. We knew that they were getting
01:46you know back and getting fit, they were back in training a little bit towards the back end of last
01:50season, but to see them here and to see them involved and obviously you don't know what's
01:54quite going on in their minds but at least from the outside looking in, mentally they look like
01:59they're in a good condition as well as physically, they're not sort of stepping out of tackles or
02:04being too tentative, they're both getting fully involved and then also Moskera was doing some extra
02:08running with one of the coaches at the very end of the session as well, the players are all heading off now
02:12as we speak. So yeah good to have them both in and around the place, their futures obviously are going
02:17to be probably a little bit different the two of them, but considering the injuries they've had
02:21to have them back in and playing and performing hopefully will be a good thing. And one big fresh
02:26face, 19.5 million times fresh face in Mr. Fir Lopez, look tidy, look good, some nice finishes as well,
02:33I mean look he'll be blending in, he'll be looking to get to know his teammates, get to know Vito Perreo
02:37in the way that he works as well, but look all signs are good going forward. For sure, the attack injury
02:42drill over there where they were sort of working through the thirds in midfield into attack,
02:46different groups that were coming in and playing. Came alive a bit didn't it? Yeah it did and
02:50before him actually, I mean Larson scored a fantastic goal top corner, Goncalo Geddes! I tell you what,
02:55a couple of worldies! With a couple of really good finishes. We can't go there again, but it's nice to see,
03:01you'd rather that than banging them onto the road wouldn't you? Exactly, and then Fir Lopez as you mentioned,
03:05he's all left foot, technically gifted, cuts inside, curls it right round one of these lovely fellas,
03:11yeah right that top corner left foot, beautiful beautiful finish, and if we can see some of that
03:15Molyneux going forward then hopefully he'll reward for that 19.5 million expenditure. Yeah look,
03:22important pre-season for the players, important pre-season for Vito Perreo, of course his first
03:27pre-season as Wolves head coach and now with Domenico Catetti here as well, which we saw and had a
03:32quick chat with him as well. Yeah we did yeah, I had a very quick sort of introduction to him. Your technical
03:37director Domenico Catetti. Yes, nice chap and he seemed busy, he was on the phone a lot pacing up
03:44and down all over the place and obviously Wolves are looking like they're doing a little bit of
03:48business now as well so hopefully going to be a bit busier in the coming weeks. Well there you go,
03:51I mean you've insinuated there, let's go straight on to it. We've been waiting for a bit more business
03:55and things look like they're starting to hot up. Yeah we knew that they were looking at John Arias,
03:59we looked in for a little while, the Fluminese, Winger, Colombian International and we're sat here
04:05hiding from the sun, get wind of the information, start putting tweets together, myself and other
04:10journalists have all put it all out at the same time and Wolves are moving closer, £15 million
04:15is going to be the fee, looking like they're getting that one over the line and in terms of look,
04:20he's never played in Europe which of course is going to be potentially a sticking point, I don't
04:25know if it sounds too negative but what he does bring at 27 years old is experience, he brings
04:30goals assists, he brings numbers in those forward areas and he's a senior player in those forward
04:35areas that Wolves desperately needed, you know you lost Kunio, you lost other players, he needed a
04:39statement signing in there and don't get me wrong, they expect more money on furlough but he's 21 years
04:43old, he's going to need a bit of time. John Arias is the kind of player that you come in and think,
04:47right, you've got to perform pretty quickly. So it seems like a very good signing on the face of it,
04:51we'll see how he gets on. And look, Wolves are very good, they've had a lot of success
04:54about buying young and then selling on a profit, like you say, at 27 years old, someone who's
04:59coming into the best part of their career you would say, you know, and obviously we've seen him
05:03in the Club World Cup as well, will add a lot to this side and playing regularly, which is good,
05:07I mean, he might need some time off, we don't know, we don't know the specifics, obviously when the
05:10deals are finally agreed and he can come over, whether that's in England, whether we see him in
05:13Spain, whether we see him in Portugal, we're not sure yet, but he will add value to this first team
05:18straight away, won't he? Yeah, exactly, and that's the, particularly the position and the area
05:24and the kind of player that they need in this squad, it does look light, it does look short,
05:29there'll be a few players that may move on still as well, so to bring a senior player in that's got
05:33good numbers, yeah, Brazilian league, don't get me wrong, it's a good league, but it's not the Premier
05:37League as well, so you've got to bear that in mind, but he's gone and done the Club World Cup and done
05:40really well there for Fluminese as well, and there's a lot of hype around the player at the moment,
05:44so for Wolves it feels like a very, very good signing, but the proof will be in the pudding when he's in England.
05:50Good for us as well on day one, we get good news as well, yeah? Yeah, yeah, great for us,
05:54great to get it out there, at a similar time as a lot of other journalists, as I say,
05:57we all sort of got wind of the information at the same time, we're going round, we're bobbing
06:00around here, speaking to Wolves staff and trying to get all the piece of everything together,
06:03we got it, we got it out there, and I need to go write the story because you've come straight to
06:07this video, but yeah, it's been intense, but it's a good start. Yeah, and look, we're going to be back
06:14at the team hotel this afternoon, we've got a certain interview as well, maybe divulge yet who that
06:18interview is with, but there's a lot of action, we've got the daily diary, we've got the daily
06:22videos as well, we've got some transfer exclusives, we've got some big interviews, there's loads to
06:26come, isn't there, in this week? A lot to come, it's an action-packed week, we sort of ran through
06:30our schedule yesterday, which we won't go into too much detail on, as I say, some more things to come
06:33later today, but there's a hell of a lot going on, so I'm looking forward to it, bring it on, let's just
06:37get out of the sun. Believe me, I don't want to pay all this money, I don't want to pay this money,
06:41I want to have a deal for like two months where I can see all this coverage and maybe only pay
06:45three pence a day on the Express and Star, I mean, they'll never do that, will they?
06:48Oh, they will. What? You're joking? Yeah, this is like pantomime, it's amazing, it's like that
06:53Mick McCarthy movie, it can't get any worse, yes it can, yes it can. Yeah, look, I know people don't
06:59like paywalls, we, you know, it wasn't our decision when we moved to the paywall a long time ago, well,
07:03a couple years ago, this is the reality and we've been able to get a really good deal, we worked with,
07:07you know, bosses and people on it to get a good deal to give Wolves fans as much coverage as
07:11possible and £2 for two months, which obviously will take you into start of the season, back
07:15out of the transfer window and stuff as well, depending on when you do it, yeah, hopefully,
07:20a lot of people can see the benefit. Yeah, we just want as many eyes on this as possible and the
07:23coverage is going to be absolutely brilliant, so thanks to our sponsors and yeah, this is going to
07:28be a busy, busy week ahead, we'll see you very, very soon.
