00:00Do you remember the federal prosecutor in the deportation case who admitted that
00:07the guy who'd been deported was wrongly deported as the result of an administrative error?
00:15And then the Department of Justice fired him for that?
00:20Well, he then went and wrote a whistleblower complaint, a very careful and precise one
00:28laying out all of the mischief that went down around those illegal deportations.
00:36The Attorney General said that his statement was false. Turns out she was either lying
00:43or misinformed badly because he brought the receipts. He published the emails from that episode,
00:53the back channel text messages from that episode, and they show exactly what he alleged,
01:00which is massive dysfunction in the Department of Justice and the Department of Homeland Security,
01:06leaving the lawyers hanging out to dry because the political bosses wouldn't give them an honest answer.
01:12And the real punchline was that he had said that Emil Bovey, now up for a circuit court judicial appointment,
01:22had told the folks working in that matter that they should be prepared if courts didn't let them deport illegally
01:31to tell courts, fuck you. Of course he denied that, of course they denied that, but you go back into that email and text chain,
01:44and you see everybody talking about it in real time. It obviously did happen, which means he obviously lied to the Judiciary Committee.
01:55There has been a lot of lying done around this, and we really need to get to the bottom of this
02:00before we put this character who may have not only broken the law, but instructed prosecutors that they may have to
02:09lie about it and tell the court, fuck you. That's not the kind of person that you want on the federal bench.
