00:00Perikata Nacional has rejected any political cooperation with Gabungan Rakyat Sabah at the
00:07coming Sabah state election. PN Chairman Muhyiddin Yassin said the decision was due to what he
00:12described as a betrayal by GRS after its leaders, then members of Prasadu, left the party in 2022.
00:20Muhyiddin said PN was open to exploring electoral alliances with other parties in preparation for
00:25the Sabah polls and would evaluate every state seat once the Sabah state assembly is dissolved.
00:31The Sabah coalition had pledged support for the unity government, but Prasadu was in the opposition
00:36in parliament. Sabah Prasadu chief, Hajiji Noor, who was also the chief minister, said the decision
00:43to leave the party was unanimous and was based on the premise that the status quo was no longer
00:47tenable. GRS then dropped Prasadu as a coalition member and Hajiji announced that he would lead
00:53the semi-dormant local party, Parti Gagasan Rakyat Sabah, which was accepted as a GRS member.
