00:00My reaction to the news today is varying in that it was exciting, sad I think for the
00:11people that couldn't be either here today or not here full stop and then the bit about
00:23the challenging part about what we do beyond today's announcement.
00:29And when that decision was handed down, what were you thinking, what was going through
00:33your mind?
00:34Basically when the decision was handed down I was thinking about the number of years that
00:42we've worked, it's a decision that has a lot of meaning to people.
00:54And for people who don't know about Muradjuga can you explain how significant the site is
00:58and what it means to your people?
01:01Muradjuga is a very culturally significant place in that it has the largest collections of
01:09petroglyphs anywhere in the world, somewhere between one and two million petroglyphs that
01:15tell the story of our ancestors and what they've done over tens of thousands of years.
01:21But it also has meaning in that it connects us to other traditional owners right across
01:28the country through the story lines and the culture as well.
01:32And the culture as well.
01:33And the culture as well.
