00:00She'd love to be here, but she's got anxiety.
00:03She's got a secondary problem that causes her to be in pain a lot.
00:07I mean, a lot of pain, which adds to the confusion.
00:11So it's difficult.
00:12In the book, there's a picture of her at the end of our road.
00:17The most recent picture I took, only a few weeks ago.
00:20And she's looking great, and she's kind of smiling, and she's got her coat on.
00:23And what you don't know is she thought I'd kidnapped her.
00:26Yeah. This was us going out, because you get all sort of delusions,
00:31because you get so kind of worked up.
00:33She keeps saying, I want to go home.
00:35So she doesn't recognise you now, Martin?
00:36No, she does recognise me most of the times.
00:39Doesn't quite know that I'm her husband, but she knows who I am.
00:43But on these occasions, and it's not frequent, but it's every now and then,
00:47she'll want to go home to her parents when I haven't got a heart to say they aren't here.
00:51What do you say?
00:52Well, what you do is you say, let's get our coats on.
00:55Let's get our shoes on.
00:57We go out and go round the block a couple of times and come back in.
01:00And she says, oh, I'm home now.
