Tobi believes the Lerners should be blamed for Mike Rizzo's failures.

00:21There was no one to step in when Juan Soto was gone.

00:24So that falls on Mike Rizzo.

00:27So you're not going to hear me fully defending Rizzo,

00:29but in terms of this, absolutely, that's not on Rizzo.

00:33Look, did he make the wrong decision in signing Colin Poche

00:37and signing Lucas Sims and signing Jorge Lopez?

00:44absolutely, I made the wrong decision

00:45because they're not on the ball club anymore.

00:47But did he have the resources necessary to build a winning bullpen?

01:18the fruition of it come through last year.

01:21It didn't.

01:21So then he had to push the timeline back.

01:23But do you really think that in the time this season,

01:26when James Wood is in the bigs,

01:27Dylan Cruz is in the bigs,

01:29CJ, McKenzie, those guys are all here.

01:31You got Brady House knocking on the door.

01:33You had all these guys ready to go

01:35in terms of the young stars of this team.

01:37Do you really think that what he wanted to do

01:39this offseason was spend $9 million on Mike Soroka

01:42and trade for Nathaniel Lowe

01:44and that's his two biggest moves?

01:45There's no chance.
