00:30Gregorio laid out his plans and programs to support athletes and coaches in their quest to bring home medals for the country.

00:56And number three, we want to see a healthy citizenry.
01:02To show his commitment to national athletes, Gregorio proudly announced his first agenda,
01:08which is to increase the monthly allowances of athletes and coaches starting this August.

01:35Patrick also emphasized the importance of holding national championships across various sports to provide a pathway for grassroots talents to enter the national team.

02:00when you allow the NSAs to the national championship, you give them the direct claim to the athlete at the grassroots.
02:08Representatives from different NSAs expressed support for Gregorio's initiatives, noting that it will help uncover more talented athletes from around the country.
02:19Malaking, malaking bagay talaga ito para sa amin kasi we've been doing naman talaga the national, you know, world championships, national and world championships both naman for our athletes and future athletes.

02:40Definitely, it's a big boost dun sa talent identification and kasi pagka meron ka na rin mga ganyang tournaments, national championships, pwede mo na rin isama dyan yung mga coach development programs mo eh.
02:56So, you know, yung mapapunta mo yung mga athletes and coaches in one place, that's a big help.
03:02And siguro, on our part na lang, kung hindi man this year, moving forward, for national championships, we have to have mga regional championships rin para inyong mag-feed ng, ano, kumpag ay even better competition pagdating ng national championships.
03:19Meanwhile, in his speech, Philippine Olympic Committee President Abraham Bambol Tolentino affirmed their readiness to continue collaboration with the PSC to further develop Philippine sports.
03:30With harmony, there will be unity. So, finally, we have, for me, we have harmony with PSC and POC.
03:47Under Gregoria's leadership, the Philippine sports community is confident that the PSC will remain a reliable partner to our national athletes.
