00:04of course was on the IL he had won his first two but last week did allow three earned against

00:11Cleveland all three via a solo home run the Cubbies had just ended up winning those games

00:17by the time Iminaga left the bump yesterday not the same story the Cubs lose eight to one

00:24against the Twins you might be thinking oh boy did Iminaga get shelled in Minneapolis not

00:30necessarily gave up to earn in the opening frame but that was it the Twins scored six more in the

00:36home half of the eighth to really extend that lead and pull away from Chicago but the first loss for

00:42Iminaga in his three outings since returning from that absence again did not pitch since the beginning

00:49portion of May the Twins pick up a victory yesterday at home yeah I liked the Twins yesterday and took

00:56them on a cheap price at three and a half it's actually expensive there but I wouldn't want to

00:59take the four and a half at plus money on the team total it's one of those Ben where you say you got

01:03to be kidding me you get two runs right up the bat in the first inning like I need two more runs the

01:07rest of the way for the Twins and I'm sitting here going into the eighth inning with still two runs

01:11going like I can't believe I'm going to lose this game huh the Twins played in six runs in the eighth

01:15inning which was fantastic actually pushed the game over technically by themselves to a Cubbies

01:19actually got a run in the ninth inning but the most important thing though about this is Iminaga

01:23was decent here six innings pitch two earned runs you'll take that every time from your starter but

01:27here's what you don't like here how about only one strikeout over those six innings for Iminaga

01:31as he works his way back into it I thought the Twins were the better team last night and they

01:34clearly were but boy oh boy I had to sweat that team total up for Iminaga going six you like that

01:40you just want to see the K-rate get up a little bit Simeon Woods Richardson the young starter for the

01:45Twins five innings of shutout baseball against the Cubbies it was Justin Turner

01:49late hitting a solo home run for Chicago their lone offense of that game and DRS it's so true

01:56right the Cubs top spot in the National League Central although they are giving some chase right

02:01now by the Milwaukee Brewers the biggest question for Chicago not the bats not the offense although

02:07not a great day yesterday of course in the Twin Cities how will the arms fare Iminaga injured early

02:13he is now back of course Justin Steele out for the remainder of this season for the Cubs by the time

02:19we get to the postseason how will that Cubs starting staff look Matthew Boyd the veteran 34 year old is

02:25an all-star for the first time in his big league career this year they need a lot more of that the

02:31Cubs as DRS alluded to were the favorites yesterday in Minneapolis the Twins went outright as a dog

02:37the Astros yesterday at home a hefty two dollar favorite against the Cleveland Guardians who

02:43entered this midweek set against one of the hottest teams in baseball in Houston dropping 10 straight

02:49they've now won two in a row and yesterday DRS the reason Houston was not just favored at home but

02:55such a strong favorite they were going up against Hunter Brown who entered yesterday with the best ERA

03:01in baseball a 1-8-2 number Brown allowed six earned the most he has given up in a single start

03:10all year long and then in extra innings a grand salami for Cleveland wins it the Guardians have taken

03:18both of the two games this week in H-Town this one an extra is winning 10 to 6 now let me ask you this

03:24question this game was 6 to 6 entering into extra innings do you know what the Houston Astros were up to

03:29plate with runners in scoring position two of 21 and they still got six runs can you imagine if they

03:36were average there that would have been a football score 14 10 final so that my takeaway was I can't

03:41believe the Guardians are waking up with a plate and scoring 10 runs now it's impressive and maybe

03:44they can add them back to a team total look sooner than later but the Astros plating six runs but

03:48having 21 opportunities to place even more that's incredible they lost that game how can you be so

03:54inefficient with runners in scoring position that's incredible they were down 6-1 DRS at the top of the

04:01fourth they did rally scoring multiple runs in the bottom of the eighth to even force extras and then

04:07Angel Martinez with that grand slam for the Guardians the winner yesterday in Houston despite Cleveland

04:13playing better the Detroit Tigers are just the best not only in baseball but of course atop the American

04:19League Central now a 14 game lead for Detroit as they have won five straight they were a slight

04:25underdog or a pick-em price to start off the week at home against Tampa won that opening game with

04:31Kyler Montero on the bump yesterday Jack Flaherty delivers another win for the Tigers they knock off the

04:37Rays 4-2 yeah back-to-back performances for the Rays at the plate not so hot against the Detroit Tigers but

04:43another victory for the Tigers here plating two in the bottom of the seventh and away they go good baseball

04:47team man even if people don't want to buy in just yet to him Colt Keith scored a couple of runs in the

04:53opener had that two-run home run that was the game winner in the bottom of the seventh for Detroit at home
