00:00Al-Qaeda, a name that shook the world. Born in 1988 during the Soviet-Afghan War,
00:05it was founded by Ursama bin Laden with a mission to fight Western influence in Muslim lands.
00:11But soon, it turned global. In 1998, Al-Qaeda bombed U.S. embassies in Africa.
00:18Then came 9-11, the deadliest terrorist attack in history. Nearly 3,000 people killed,
00:25and the U.S. launched the War on Terror. Bin Laden hid for years. Until 2011, when U.S., forces killed him
00:33in Pakistan. But Al-Qaeda didn't die. It fractured. It spread. And today, its branches still exist in
00:41Yemen, Somalia, and beyond. From a guerrilla group to a global network, Al-Qaeda changed how the world
00:49fights terror forever.
