Transcript
00:00So I'm John King Tomlinson, I'm a partnership manager at winningmoves.co.uk.
00:04We are the global producer of Monopoly and we're here in Chichester to give it its very own edition.
00:09This one's going to be scheduled for release in March 2026.
00:12We found that kind of that Easter holiday period is really good for first off celebrating Chichester when the weather's perfectly good,
00:19but also allowing holidaymakers the chance to have a look over the game as well.
00:23When it comes to developing the game, we've got a suggestions mailbox which we've opened up,
00:28and that's chichester at winningmoves.co.uk.
00:31The local public will be able to send in their suggestions there, we'll have our team looking over those,
00:35and that will of course guide us in making those decisions for the game.
00:38Absolutely nothing's set in stone so far, so we'll be working through there, doing our research.
00:42Obviously we want to hear from the locals as to the perimeter of what they consider to be Chichester,
00:48particular landmarks they love visiting, heritage sites, and also just experiences as well.
00:53So when it comes to the chance of community chess cards, we're going to make all of those Chichester specific,
00:58so we'd love to hear experiences, stories, things that you consider to be Chichester,
01:03all of those suggestions that we can work into the game.
01:05We always look for areas in the UK that have high civic pride, good heritage sites,
01:10kind of natural beauty as well, and I think Chichester ticks all those boxes.
01:14People really seem to be proud to be from Chichester or living in Chichester.
01:18You've obviously got all these heritage sites, the cathedral, and then that seaside appeal as well.
01:23So we always find these games do well where people are passionate about the area,
01:27and of course it's a nice place to walk around as well.
01:30Louvre.
