00:00Yeah, it is.
00:02It's a really easy way to make a good idea.
00:06I'm in the first place.
00:08I'm in the first place.
00:11I'm in the first place.
00:13Let's go.
00:15I'm out.
00:18Hey, it's really great.
00:20Oh, boy.
00:23Oh, boy.
00:25Oh, boy.
00:27Honey, I swear my wife is invisible.
00:55Fantastic.
00:57You probably think, based on that tumble, those were my first steps, but I was actually
01:01distracted by the new season pass card for Fantastic Four first steps.
01:06Super scientist Reed Richards has a brand new card that experiments on a card in your
01:11hand each turn, giving it minus one cost or plus two power.
01:16Try running some experiments with Galacta and Brood or adding some more juice with Fastos
01:21and Surge.
01:22Oh honey, you are home.
01:26Thank you everyone.
01:31Our next guest is a brainiac who really knows his stuff.
01:36He brought an invention he claims is truly fantastic.
01:41Please welcome Jason Yeh.
01:45Hey Wizkid, tell us about your fancy gizmo.
01:47Well, this gizmo is a state of the art autonomous robot helper.
01:52Ooh, can it vacuum my rug?
01:54It can do a lot more than that.
01:57It can grant you bonus power, bonus energy, or make a giant rock.
02:02My rugs are going to be so clean.
02:06I designed it after the new Marvel Snap card, Burby.
02:10He's the Fantastic Four's lovable robot assistant, and in Marvel Snap, he swaps between four activate
02:16abilities until you pick one to use.
02:18Like his inventor, Mr. Fantastic, he fits great in a deck with a lot of one cost cards.
02:22Or, maybe you want to charge up with some extra energy.
02:26You won't regret this purchase.
02:32They can't all be fantastic, folks.
02:37Flamma!
02:38Uh-oh.
02:39Ben, shouldn't we be wearing safety goggles or something?
02:41Eric, I am a scientist, okay?
02:44I do this all day.
02:45You don't need safety goggles.
02:47Now, if you do catch fire like the human torch, stop, drop, and roll.
02:54But not into my kiddie pool filled with gasoline, okay?
02:57Oh, yikes.
02:58Speaking of fire, have you seen the new Human Torch First Steps card yet?
03:02Johnny Storm's brand new card gains bonus power at the end of each turn.
03:06If his side fills up, his power will double.
03:09Ha!
03:10It looks like it'll work great with the other First Steps cards.
03:13Not to mention in a Silver Surfer deck.
03:16Okay.
03:17Now hold very still.
03:19Oh.
03:20My kiddie pool!
03:24Hello?
03:25Is anyone there?
03:26Come on out where I can see you.
03:27It's just Deputy Ben.
03:28It's not like I'm Ben Grimm or anything.
03:29Get it?
03:30Anything?
03:31Because he's the Thing.
03:32Down at the station, a stoolie spilled his guts about the new Thing First Steps card.
03:47At the end of every turn, it gains plus two power.
03:51That's not all.
03:52If his side fills up, he'll destroy an enemy card on the other side with lesser power.
03:58Now that's something I'd be afraid of if I were you.
04:02Hey, what's this?
04:05Uh-oh.
04:07Imagine a place where things that usually happen once happen twice.
04:15When you activate the new Invisible Woman First Steps, all your end of turn abilities happen twice.
04:30The matriarch of Marvel's first family, she serves up seconds not just for the First Steps crew, but also Doom 2099 and evolved Misty Knight and Cyclops.
04:41It almost feels like playing Marvel's snap in another dimension.
04:48We have breaking news here on the desk.
04:51Step aside bird, it appears four is the word.
04:55As in more series four cards are launching this Fantastic Four First Steps season.
05:00Look out for Fantastikar, Mole Man, and The Man-Thinker.
05:06And make sure to keep an eye out for these new locations that also love the number four.
05:11I'm being told we have a live caller on the telephone with the inside scoop on this season's new variants.
05:19Hello, Mr. Granov, are you there?
05:23Hello everyone.
05:24Oh, hold on.
05:25Let's get some color back into this.
05:29Okay, I think that's better.
05:30Hi, my name is Adi Granov and I live in the north of England in the UK.
05:36I have been a professional artist for 32, 33 years.
05:40I've always been really interested in more kind of realistic, but fantasy and science fiction oriented stuff.
05:46Make unbelievable look believable.
05:49First, it always starts with a lot of thinking.
05:51Trying to come up with an idea or concept, a layout.
05:56Then it's sketching and trying to come up with just a cool way to present that ideas.
06:01I paint most of my work traditionally.
06:03As you can see kind of around me, it's a lot of traditional tools.
06:07So I work on a big board and use pencils first and then acrylic paints.
06:12With the Fantastic Four First Steps cards, they were also more complicated because they're based on the movie.
06:19So they have a very specific look, very specific design of the costumes.
06:24And then the most difficult part is the likenesses of the characters.
06:27And as far as which one of the cards is my favorite, I would probably say the Human Torch.
06:33Because I found it the most difficult.
06:35I had to actually design the fire so it fits both my style, but also the style of the film.
06:41Because it turned out actually better than I expected or hoped.
06:45I've worked with Marvel for 22 years.
06:49I, in 2005 and 2006, worked on a comic called Iron Man Extremis.
06:54Which then was used as an inspiration for the look and feel of launching not just Iron Man, but also the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
07:02I was asked to actually join and help design this guy here, Iron Man Mark II and III, which is this one.
07:08It's still quite a surreal feeling.
07:10When I go see it and everybody's enjoying it around me, that's when I really get the sense that, like, oh, okay, we've done something really great.
07:18Signing off, I'm Adi from England.
07:20Thank you so much.
07:21Bye, Ben.
07:25Before I go, I have to tell you about this brand new limited time game mode, Grand Arena.
07:30In Grand Arena, you choose a champion that starts in your hand alongside a powerful skill card, setting the stage for dynamic new strategies.
07:41And for the first time ever, players will get the option to pick from a variety of pre-con decks based on their champion, even if you don't own the cards.
07:50I can't wait.
07:52Thank you so much for continuing to support Marvel Snap.
07:55We're so excited about the Fantastic Four First Steps film, and we can't wait to hear what you think about the new season.
08:01Peace!
08:06How many Ottomans do we have?
