00:00Ma'am, this is a question on the national debt.

00:03Dalawang bahagi po yung tanong.

00:05As of end March 2025,

00:07nasa close to 17 trillion na po ang utang ng bansa.

00:10Ito yung 62% ng debt-to-GDP ratio.

00:14Of the more than 4 trillion borrowed under the Marcos administration,

00:19can we account where it largely went?

00:21And is a 62% debt-to-GDP ratio still within what can be considered healthy?

00:26Ito po ay ginamit sa mga growth-enhancing investments

00:29tulad ng infrastructure, education, agriculture, health, at social services.

00:35Makikita po natin kung ano ang mga tinulong ng Pangulo at ng pamalaan sa mga farmers natin,

00:40sa mga mangingisda po natin.

00:42Pati po itong pagpapataas din po ng mga ayuda at tulong sa ating mga kababayan.

00:48Makikita niyo po yan.

00:49At ito po ayon sa ating DOF, Department of Finance,

00:54ay sustainable, nasa sustainable level po tayo.

00:57At dahil po ang 70% po ang international threshold for the debt-to-GDP ratio.

01:05So, nandun pa po tayo.

01:06Sabi niyo nga po, nung nakaraang taon, nasa 60.2.

01:10Kung di ako nagkakami, 60.7%.

01:12Pero ngayon mukhang tumaas ng konti.

01:1462%.

01:15At still, nandun pa rin po tayo sa range.

01:17It's supposed to be below 70%.

01:19And can you tell us kung ano pong targets in the next three years of the administration?

01:25Kasi po, sa unang zona ng Pangulo, if I may point it out,

01:30ay target po na ibaba sa 60% or below ang debt-to-GDP ratio.

01:36Sa ganyang katanungan, tatanungin po muli natin ang DOF

01:40at yung ating economic team patungkol po dyan para mas detalyado ang aking maiulat sa inyo.
