00:00Senegalese Prime Minister Ousmane Sonko says the world is changing.
00:08Increasingly, the concepts of international order, international rules and the international
00:14community are losing their significance because we have certain countries, due to their power,
00:20that unilaterally assume power at every moment in history and set the rules for themselves.
00:26Sonko took aim at US tariff hikes, saying that some of those historically powerful countries
00:35are trying to change those rules now that the world is shifting to a more balanced order.
00:43He also praised initiatives from the Global South, particularly within the BRICS group of emerging
00:48economies, calling them vital steps towards creating a more equitable and multilateral world.
