A Chinese tank landing ship was reportedly spotted off the coast of Keelung in northern Taiwan. It was later identified as a Type 072A landing ship, used by China’s military for amphibious operations and transporting supplies.

00:24It can carry hundreds of troops and up to 10 tanks.

00:27The Navy says it closely monitored the vessel's movements.

00:50These ships are usually seen in waters off Taiwan's east.
