00:00AI ethics, oh my goodness. I've written a book titled Integrity of Heart and studied theology, graduated from three Bible colleges, but digging into this vitally important topic of artificial intelligence is a new frontier indeed.
00:15Thankfully, I've taken a few courses on it and I'm growing in knowledge by reason of use and study. And AI ethics is a subfield of applied ethics. And nowadays, AI ethics is considered part of the ethics technology specific to robots and other artificially intelligent entities.
00:39It concerns the questions of how developers, manufacturers, authorities, and operators should behave in order to minimize the ethical risks that can arise from AI use in society, either from design or inappropriate application or intentional misuse, sadly, of this powerful, important, and sometimes useful technology.
01:07These concerns can be divided into three timeframes. First, the immediate here and now questions about, for instance, security, privacy, transparency, and these AI systems. Secondly, mid-range concerns about the impact of AI on the military and its use, medical care and treatment, justice, as well as within the educational system.
01:33Thirdly, long-term concerns about the fundamental ethical goals of AI surrounding its development, implementation in society, and use.
01:45This topic of AI ethics is profound and ongoing and ever-evolving.
01:51If you have some specific questions or would like me to speak on this topic at your school, college, university, or even your company and country, you let me know.
02:03I look forward to hearing from you and see how I can serve you and increase this dialogue and important conversation throughout the earth to protect humanity and ensure that we have equitable use of this technology and uphold simultaneously our own personal privacy.
