00:00Our ask is for FIFA to pressure for there to be no immigration enforcement during the games,
00:09no ICE presence at the games, and for the host committee to urge the mayors to veto the 287G
00:15agreements. These agreements are causing chaos, fear, and uncertainty in our communities.
00:21They are the cause of why so many people decided not to go to the last game that was here.
00:27Again, we're here because we want people to feel safe going to their games.
00:32We don't want for people to be sitting at these games and watching families be separated,
00:38wondering whether or not ICE is going to come to their seat in the stands and ask them for their papers.
00:43Even if it's just for sniffer dogs, even if it's just for bodies, right?
00:46There are other ways to keep our community safe, and we encourage FIFA to look at creative ways of doing so.
00:51That does not include ICE, which is a known right agency that is causing terror in our communities right now.
00:58But what we're seeing right now is that the club World Cup games are sparsely attended.
01:03Tickets have been slashed for some games as low as $4, and the games are still empty.
01:10They have a lot of influence.
01:11They have the ability, FIFA does, to lobby the administration and go to the federal government
01:15and say, we do not want what ICE has already released in a statement to the local press,
01:22which is that they are going to be checking papers.
01:24They're coming here to see the World Cup, not to see alligator Alcatraz.
01:29So, FIFA, please protect your fans.
01:33The world is watching.
01:34Miami is a global city, and the World Cup is a global event.
01:37If FIFA does not act now, the world will remember Miami, not for the game-winning goals,
01:42but for raids, fear, and family separation.
01:44We do not want this scar to be on our beloved city.
02:07To use Dortmund Hotel, we do not want this scar to be on our
