Bhubaneswar (Odisha), July 01, 2025 (ANI): BJD’s Prasanna Acharya condemned BJP Government over Ratnakar Sahoo assault case in Bhubaneswar. He called the incident unprecedented and unbelievable.

00:00This is quite unprecedented incident that happened yesterday and I have no

00:05word to condemn this. This is unpardonable and how this could happen

00:10in the capital itself. If this could happen in a government office in the

00:16capital itself you could well imagine what is happening in other part of the

00:19state and this has created sharp reaction not only amongst the government

00:24officials but amongst the people at large and the reaction is all over the

00:30country. So this is condemnable and government should immediately take action

00:36all the carpets should be taken into task all the carpets should be booked

00:40immediately and not only the people who are directly involved but the brain

00:45behind all these things should also be taken into task and government should

00:50create a cohesive a situation for the government officials to work. So this is

00:56unprecedented and I have no words to condemn this.

01:06Though you see the Honorable Chief Minister is giving

01:09assurances in all such matters but no visible concrete action is taken. What

01:14happened in Puri two days back? What action government has yet taken? Only

01:19transferring to high-level officials. No other state has been taken as yet. So

01:26only Bharwalish resistance is not enough. Government should be seen to be taken

01:31action and there is no action as yet. Only in this incident what happened

01:36yesterday in a government office in broad daylight only three people have been

01:42arrested so far. But what about others? And particularly the people who are

01:47behind all these things they should also be taken into task. Only Bharwalish

01:52resistance is not going to do. So if you want a high-level inquiry? Certainly. If the state

02:01government officials are not safe in their own offices and in particular in the

02:06state capital, how do you expect them to work smoothly and impartially? I fail to

02:13understand how the government will run.
