Synopsis:
In this gripping sequel to The Quatermass Xperiment, Professor Bernard Quatermass returns in a desperate fight against a terrifying alien invasion. When strange meteorites begin falling in rural England, Quatermass discovers a secret government facility that's eerily similar to his own moon colonization plans — and guarded by emotionless men with a dark agenda. As he uncovers a conspiracy involving mind control and extraterrestrial infiltration, Quatermass must race against time to stop a threat that could destroy humanity from within.

A chilling British sci-fi classic from Hammer Films — atmospheric, intelligent, and ahead of its time.

00:31:59so you can see the stuff going through.
00:32:01I'd like to take a look at that.
00:32:03Later you will see everything.
00:32:04Are we going to see inside a big dome?
00:32:06That's where you're going now.
00:32:08Please continue.
00:32:22Mind the set.
00:32:27This way, please.
00:32:30Right along, will you?
00:32:31Quickly.
00:32:34Keep moving.
00:32:37Oh, dear, it's so deep.
00:32:40We're not inside the dome, are we?
00:32:42No.
00:32:42This is an airlock.
00:32:44It's not possible to enter the dome itself,
00:32:46but you'll be taken downstairs.
00:32:47What, down there?
00:32:48It's quite safe.
00:32:50Well, you'll have to go first.
00:32:51I have no head for heights.
00:32:53What's going on down there?
00:32:54It's part of the process.
00:32:56Now, please don't wait here.
00:32:57We must keep going.
00:32:59Where's the other man?
00:33:02The other man?
00:33:04Broadhead.
00:33:05I didn't see him come in.
00:33:13Now, please don't worry.
00:33:14He'll be found and everything will be in order.
00:33:16It all looks most efficient.
00:33:17What are you doing?
00:33:17Sending a search party.
00:33:22What's this?
00:33:24A safety precaution.
00:33:25Shall we go down?
00:33:38I don't want to.
00:33:40I'm afraid we must.
00:33:42Broadhead.

00:35:00Roger!
00:35:01No, no, don't touch me!
00:35:02What happened?
00:35:03I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I,
00:35:06I, I, I had to find out, had to find out.
00:35:10You're inside?
00:35:11I fell.
00:35:12Wait a minute.
00:35:12I'm here.

00:38:44Okay, son.
00:38:46Constable will show you up soon.
00:38:47Go ahead.
00:38:48I know the way.
00:38:54Wait a minute.
00:38:55Why do I know that name?
00:38:58Well, Max.
00:38:59Glad you're here.
00:39:00I nearly knocked.
00:39:01Just call that.
00:39:02How much power have you got here?
00:39:03How much real authority?
00:39:04God I don't quite understand.
00:39:05Could you call an emergency action
00:39:06on a large scale of it have to be?
00:39:07Action for what?
00:39:08if I told you that what is really being carried out in Winnerdon Flats is the mass destruction
00:39:12of men's minds. Now, look, sir, I'm a pretty ordinary sort of fellow with a pretty ordinary
00:39:15sort of mind. Melissa and Broadhead took me down there this afternoon with an official inspection
00:39:19party. The place is almost exactly what I told you it was. I got out of there alone. The rest of
00:39:24them got trapped into staying. I was meant to be one of them. Are you suggesting they've been
00:39:27murdered? I'm suggesting that they have been methodically infected with the same thing that
00:39:31struck young Marsh yesterday. You mean that mark? Maybe the mark. I don't know yet. But I do know
00:39:37that they'll come back. Like hundreds, maybe thousands of others have come infected. If
00:39:42I'd have stayed there, I might be here talking to you now, but not saying the things I'm saying.
00:39:46I wouldn't be able to. Does Vincent Broadhead think this? Vincent Broadhead is dead. Dead? I watched
00:39:55him die a few hours ago in that plant. His whole body covered with some kind of corrosive poisoning
00:40:01eaten away. Some of the black slime got on my coat. I had to cut out the spot.
00:40:07Don't touch it. And how does that story measure up with this one?
00:40:18This is a lie. Vincent Broadhead was with me this afternoon at Winterden Flats. Where did
00:40:22this story come from? It says an official government announcement. The minute they knew he was dead.
00:40:27Are you seriously trying? Broadhead was with me and the others at Winterden Flats and he was killed by a
00:40:32corrosive compound of ammonia, which is what they're manufacturing in that plant. Quatermass,
00:40:36do you realize what you're alleging? That in a government-sponsored... The point is that I am still
00:40:41here to allege it. Take a squad of men into that plant. You'll get your proof soon enough. You know I
00:40:45can't do that. Then get your pathologist to analyze that and confirm it. You've got to start an investigation.
00:40:51What, on your statements alone? You've got to. Talk to the commissioner. Let me talk to him. Lomax, you've got to act.
00:41:00Yes, sir? Is the commissioner gone? Not yet, sir.
00:41:04This better be true. That's all I have to say. It better be true. I wish to heaven that it wasn't.
00:41:10Get me camp for it, 647. Take it.
00:41:19Yes? Inspector Lomax to see you, sir. Come in, Lomax. I'm sorry to bother you, sir.
00:41:27Something's come up that I'm not sure how to handle. Sit down, tell me about it.
00:41:32It's difficult to know where to begin, sir. The implications are so far reaching,
00:41:36if there's anything in them, that it's a matter of top policy.
00:41:39Yes? Well, sir, it concerns. It concerns?
00:41:53Concerns? The Ormond case, sir. The man we are holding. I thought if, if we turned him loose,
00:42:00he might lead us to something. I mean, give us a lead to accomplices. And I wondered if you had
00:42:05any views on the subject, sir. The decision is yours, Lomax. You're conversant with the case?
00:42:13Of course, sir. I'm sorry. I've made a mistake worrying you at this hour.
00:42:17All right. Good night, sir. Good night.
00:42:20Good night.
00:42:31Yes? Bran? This is Quatermass. I'm at Scotland Yard.
00:42:36Quatermass, I've been trying to find you all evening. We've traced the source of these things.
00:42:40It's in a freak orbit on the dark side of the earth, in a permanent state of eclipse.
00:42:44That's why it's not visible. It must be something like an asteroid, about 200 yards across.
00:42:49Look, take full records till they get there. Yes, I'm trying to.
00:42:55They found the source of those things. I'm going back.
00:42:58Quatermass, the mark you saw on Marsh and the other man. Describe it. Quick, tell me.
00:43:03Well, it was a reddish mark, as if something had been pressed into the skin and it
00:43:07left a jagged V. How big?
00:43:09About this big. Why?
00:43:12I've just seen it.
00:43:14Here? In this building?
00:43:16No. Even here.
00:43:20I'm trying to tell myself there's nothing to it, that you're wrong.
00:43:23I wasn't wrong last time, was I?
00:43:30Hi, General.
00:43:31Jimmy, what do you want?
00:43:32One and a half columns.
00:43:33Not now, Jimmy.
00:43:34Quatermass, the rocket man.
00:43:36Elephant Hall remembered.
00:43:37Will you leave us alone, please?
00:43:39What's the matter? Somebody pinch his rocket?
00:43:40Jimmy, I wouldn't want to have you escorted out.
00:43:43Who's that crime reporter? He's harmless enough.
00:43:47Quatermass, if you could make it public, put it before the whole country, everything, all at once.
00:43:51You mean the press?
00:43:52It must be worth trying.
00:43:55Jimmy!
00:43:56Well, Max, that man is in no condition.
00:43:57The drunk Jimmy Hall is clever, sober, he's brilliant.
00:43:59I was going, I was going.
00:44:01Listen, Jimmy, you came here for a story.
00:44:02Well, you're going to get one, the biggest you've ever had in your life.
00:44:04That dictation speed.
00:44:05You have a car?
00:44:05Where are we going?
00:44:06To your base.
00:44:07Base?
00:44:07Yeah.
00:44:08Well, don't put it.
00:44:09Go on.
00:44:11See it there?
00:44:13That point of light at the intersection.
00:44:15That's radio waves being reflected by something out in space.
00:44:18Is it coming towards us?
00:44:19No, it's just circling on the dark side of the Earth.
00:44:21And there's life on it?
00:44:22Not life as we know it.
00:44:23They probably have their own artificial atmosphere.
00:44:25Uh, ammonia, methane.
00:44:27Poisoned gases.
00:44:28It comes from a region where such conditions do exist as atmosphere.
00:44:32The outer planets.
00:44:33Maybe a moon of Saturn.
00:44:35Can I have a scotch in this?
00:44:36It's growing weaker.
00:44:37The policy comes out of these things.
00:44:39I think it's a multiple organism.
00:44:41A thousand billion intelligences, if you like, with one single consciousness.
00:44:45Look, I'm a policeman.
00:44:47Try and imagine an organism to which oxygen is not an essential of life, but a destroyer.
00:44:54An organism which is unable to exist in our atmosphere for more than three or four seconds,
00:44:59safe only in a shell like this, sealed in with a mixture of gases, methane, maybe even hydrogen.
00:45:06And when it breaks out?
00:45:07It dies.
00:45:08It dies.
00:45:08Unless its energy is expended on an object that can exist in our atmosphere.
00:45:14A human target.
00:45:15And what happens to the human target?
00:45:17An immediate invasion of his entire nervous system.
00:45:20Something is implanted.
00:45:22An instinct.
00:45:23A blind compulsion to act for them.
00:45:26You expect me to tell my editor that?
00:45:28But Hall, you must say there's no time to lose.
00:45:33Don't rush me, General.
00:45:34Don't rush me.
00:45:35You've given me a lot of science talk and I'm not very good at it.
00:45:38All I do understand is somebody swiped your moon project.
00:45:40But it never was all mine.
00:45:42This would be fairly standard procedure for adapting living beings on an alien planet.
00:45:47But Quatermass, if you're right, what's going to happen?
00:45:50What's the ultimate object?
00:45:51I hesitate to guess, Inspector.
00:45:53First, a few of these things came here at random, scattered, and then expended themselves to a purpose.
00:46:00A year ago, phase number two, the concentrated attack.
00:46:03On one of them flats?
00:46:05An out-of-the-way village with a little government research plant.
00:46:08One night that area was taken, now they've got themselves a colony.
00:46:12And all this went on for a year and nobody said anything?
00:46:15But who knows how many infected people they've got in high places.
00:46:18And what about here? Can you be sure of all your stuff?
00:46:20I think so. I'll step up security in the morning.
00:46:23The next move is Halls.
00:46:24We've got to break this conspiracy of silence and secret orders.
00:46:28You've got to right this man, now.
00:46:30Look, get all this down.
00:46:32I'll check it with you.
00:46:33Then I'll drive you into London.
00:46:35We don't even dare use a telephone.
00:46:37How far is this plant from here?
00:46:38About 90 miles.
00:46:40I want to see it.
00:46:41But man, time is desperate.
00:46:42These people at work here, are they normal?
00:46:44At the moment, I think so.
00:46:45I want to talk to them.
00:46:46Jimmy.
00:46:48Relax, General. We'll still make the first additions.
00:46:50I'm lost among all this stuff.
00:46:51I want to talk to some numbskulls like myself.
00:46:53All right, we'll go now.
00:46:54Well, you too. Isn't that a risk?
00:46:55The biggest risk is that their story won't get in at all.
00:46:58I'll see you outside in 15 minutes.
00:46:59There are certain arrangements I want to make.
00:47:01An alternative plan in case of emergency.
00:47:03You need any help?
00:47:04I don't think we should share that knowledge and deal with where we're going.
00:47:07I'll see you outside.
00:47:10Bran, I want double security throughout the base.
00:47:14All gates, rocket firing, base bunkers, double guard on all points.
00:47:18And I want to talk to you in the control room.
00:47:19Right.
00:47:22Get me in the laboratory.
00:47:23I'm making a list of people I know I can trust.
00:47:26Good. You keep it.
00:47:27We'll leave every one of them.
00:47:28Flags on the line.
00:47:30Mrs Quatermus, what about that analysis?
00:47:32Well, we're just finishing, sir.
00:47:34We've got five cc's from that piece of cloth.
00:47:36It's a most complex substance.
00:47:37I've never quite meant anything like it before.
00:47:40It's basically an ammoniac corrosive, highly concentrated.
00:47:44Yes.
00:47:46Just how poisonous.
00:47:49I see.
00:47:51Right.
00:47:52Full report as soon as you can.
00:47:55Go see if the car is there.
00:47:56It is there.
00:47:57Go and see.
00:47:59Yes, sir.
00:48:04Well,
00:48:04that black slime is deadly to every living thing on earth.
00:48:11So it isn't synthetic food.
00:48:13On the contrary, Lomax, I think it is.
00:48:16Food for whatever is in those domes.
00:48:18Domes 200 feet high.
00:48:20I'm the top of the evening if you see the girl.
00:48:33What, sir?
00:48:33We'll have more beers, sir.
00:48:34Tarpwood.
00:48:35Oh, give it, Trevone.
00:48:36I'm doing the expensive orders.
00:48:41Here, all that.
00:48:42Here's the whiskey.
00:48:43Full measure.
00:48:44It's a shame.
00:48:45You're a poor, suffering.
00:48:46Why?
00:48:47Hey, I asked for scotch.
00:48:48I'm from Patrick's night.
00:48:49You're going to Irish and like it.
00:48:52Nanny.
00:48:53What's he doing?
00:48:55Is that commercial supposed to be a jeep?
00:48:57There's more than I can edit this cover.
00:48:59Yeah, hold it.
00:49:00Now watch him.
00:49:01Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha.
00:49:14I say, here's the winner.
00:49:16That wasn't a check.
00:49:17Well, whatever it was, it was a lot better than yours.
00:49:29Good stopping.
00:49:31Hi, Marilyn.
00:49:32Hi yourself.
00:49:34Does everybody here work at the plant?
00:49:35Who wants to know?
00:49:37Thanks for helping.
00:49:37I've only got two pair of hands, haven't I?
00:49:39Well, there's two gins and a sherry for birth.
00:49:42Great.
00:49:43What are the chances of a job at that place?
00:49:44A job?
00:49:45Sure.
00:49:45I want work.
00:49:47Boy, you must have come here.
00:49:48Just the plant, the marshes and now.
00:49:50It's a real gay place.
00:49:52Be careful, Hall.
00:49:53A bit of all the drinks.
00:49:54Someone seems to know you.
00:50:07Yes, we've met before.
00:50:08The camp secretary.
00:50:09Two beers and a double.
00:50:10What's working conditions like?
00:50:12Me and the plant?
00:50:13Oh, it couldn't be better.
00:50:14Do you know what they're paying unskilled labor?
00:50:16Shannon.
00:50:16Oh.
00:50:17You want a job?
00:50:18See the shop's due.
00:50:19Oh, good evening.
00:50:20What seems to be the trouble?
00:50:21No trouble.
00:50:22The fellow's asking about work at the plant.
00:50:24Oh.
00:50:25Are you three together?
00:50:25Yes.
00:50:26And you're looking for heavy constructional work?
00:50:28Well, even if you're right,
00:50:29but all workmen are engaged with government contractors.
00:50:31Ah, give it to him straight, Mac.
00:50:32There's no jobs.
00:50:33Even we're on short time now.
00:50:34Out of time, Pat.
00:50:35Who's kidding?
00:50:35Oh, the plant's nearly finished.
00:50:36And when it is, we'll all be looking for jobs.
00:50:37Nobody said that.
00:50:39I suppose they...
00:50:40Zombies aren't turning on our heels to get out.
00:50:42Zombies?
00:50:43Oh, it's a special nickname given to a special person.
00:50:45Nickname, disease looking out of perishers.
00:50:47We hate their guts and don't anyone deny it.
00:50:49Dormus.
00:50:49Now, Patty, you're drunk.
00:50:50Well, don't we?
00:50:51Treating us like dirt, never talking to us.
00:50:52Who do they think they are?
00:50:53They're at the plant.
00:50:54Sure they do.
00:50:55They operate the doves.
00:50:56No, all.
00:50:57What's inside those doves, Patty?
00:51:00Suddenly you know too much.
00:51:02Yes.
00:51:02Who are you?
00:51:03I know him.
00:51:04He was here two days ago.
00:51:05Got into trouble with the guards.
00:51:06Yes, or we don't want no guard trouble here.
00:51:08Act with them.
00:51:09Now, stop.
00:51:09Wait a minute.
00:51:10Listen to me.
00:51:11They don't have to tell me.
00:51:11It's useless.
00:51:12Well, you've got to try.
00:51:13Quiet, everyone.
00:51:14Quiet, please.
00:51:15Quiet, everyone.
00:51:16Listen to me.
00:51:17This is vitally important to all of you.
00:51:22Please, may I have your attention?
00:51:23What's it all about?
00:51:24Who is he?
00:51:25Who are you?
00:51:25I'm a police officer.
00:51:26We don't have police here.
00:51:27Well, you have now.
00:51:28Turn that music off.
00:51:30Now, the gentleman over there is a scientist,
00:51:32and I want you to listen to what he has to say.
00:51:34If what he says is right, you're in great danger, all of you.
00:51:38Danger?
00:51:38What danger?
00:51:39Why are the police here?
00:51:40It's about that place you've been working on,
00:51:42helping to build.
00:51:43He's been spying around the plant,
00:51:44and the man with him was arrested.
00:51:45Ask him.
00:51:46He told me himself.
00:51:47Ask him.
00:51:47You think that place is producing human food?
00:51:50It's not.
00:51:50Food?
00:51:51What's he know about that?
00:51:51He's been spying.
00:51:52That plant is producing deadly poison.
00:51:55Poison to every earthly creature.
00:51:56Who's making poison?
00:51:57What does he know?
00:51:58Please, let me explain.
00:52:00I can prove everything I'm saying.
00:52:01You better, my boy.
00:52:02He's a liar.
00:52:03They're out with it.
00:52:03We're making poison, he says.
00:52:04He's a liar, he says.
00:52:06Throw him out!
00:52:07Throw him out!
00:52:08Throw him out!
00:52:13Stop this!
00:52:14County Test!
00:52:15I'm not wanting here, there'll only be trouble.
00:52:17Now, get out before there's any more trouble.
00:52:26It's all right.
00:52:27Now keep back.
00:52:27Leave.
00:52:28Leave.
00:52:28Leave to be alarmed.
00:52:31Came through the roof.
00:52:32What was it?
00:52:35There it is, under the floorboards.
00:52:36Keep back, ma'am.
00:52:37Who are you telling to keep back?
00:52:38That may be dangerous.
00:52:39Dangerous, my foot.
00:52:40It's an overshot, that's all.
00:52:41Overshot?
00:52:42How is she, Mac?
00:52:43Not hurt?
00:52:43No, it was just right.
00:52:45I'll be all right in a minute.
00:52:46Take a sip of this, Mac.
00:52:48Oh, it's the first one.
00:52:49Ty, the one's fallen this far away.
00:52:51Call it an overshot.
00:52:52That's right.
00:52:53Stoey things that fall outside the plant, usually at night.
00:52:55What are they supposed to be?
00:52:56Oh, something to do with the process.
00:52:58Don't ask me.
00:52:59Oh, look at the mess it's made in the floor.
00:53:01Stay bad, girl. It's a whole one underneath the floorboard.
00:53:03We've got to get everyone out of here.
00:53:04Well, now, come along. Everybody outside, please.
00:53:06Come along. I'm sorry to interrupt the festivities.
00:53:08Is she all right?
00:53:09Yes, but we're going to take her outside.
00:53:11Now, come along, please.
00:53:12Quickly.
00:53:13Outside.
00:53:14Please.
00:53:15You must clear this hall.
00:53:17It's early. Come along now.
00:53:19Away you go.
00:53:20What's all the fuss about?
00:53:21It's an overshot.
00:53:22What do you think it was, a bomb?
00:53:23Look, no matter what they've told you about these things,
00:53:24they're not harmless.
00:53:25Now, along you go.
00:53:26Out you go, please.
00:53:28Wait a mess.
00:53:31Oh, here it is. It's still warm.
00:53:34Put it down as slowly as you can.
00:53:37Oh, it's only an overshot.
00:53:39Like Patty said.
00:53:41On the floor.
00:53:43Put it on the floor.
00:53:46Gently.
00:53:46Sheena.
00:53:56Look her neck.
00:53:59What is it?
00:54:00Sheena.
00:54:01What happened?
00:54:01Can't we do anything?
00:54:02Too late?
00:54:03You say you know all about this.
00:54:05All right.
00:54:05Do something.
00:54:06There's nothing to do now.
00:54:07You might call the doctor.
00:54:08Lomax.
00:54:08Get a blanket.
00:54:09The fact that that thing landed so far from the plant
00:54:13might indicate that...
00:54:14Come on, quick.
00:54:15They're coming away, Andre.
00:54:16Quick.
00:54:16Quickly.
00:54:19Sheena.
00:54:20That thing on her neck.
00:54:21You all seen it, didn't you?
00:54:22Came out of the stone.
00:54:22That fellow said it was dangerous.
00:54:25Listen.
00:54:28This is sort of whistling.
00:54:29I was right.
00:54:30They're coming down by the hundreds.
00:54:31Get haul.
00:54:33This is urgent.
00:54:34Priority.
00:54:34Jimmy, quick.
00:54:35Outside.
00:54:35Be with you in a minute.
00:54:36I'm not holding this...
00:54:37News desk.
00:54:38Quick.
00:54:39It's a mass dropping, all right.
00:54:40Where's Hall?
00:54:41He's phoning his story.
00:54:43Not from here.
00:54:43I told him not to use the phone here.
00:54:45Quatermass.
00:54:45Look.
00:55:06These things are coming in large numbers from outside the earth.
00:55:08Look.
00:55:09Just take the story, will you?
00:55:12Hold it.
00:55:34What did this?
00:55:35You know what did it.
00:55:36Tell us and try to save her.
00:55:38Do you hear what I say?
00:55:39Steady, buddy.
00:55:40Steady.
00:55:41Are you there?
00:55:43These things arrive in stone containers.
00:55:45Former meteorite.
00:55:46They've been coming for the past 18 months.
00:55:48The fool.
00:55:49Why doesn't he come out?
00:55:49If he lies low, he's got a chance.
00:55:52Contact with these things produces a violent inflection.
00:55:54Sort of sting.
00:55:56I've just seen it happen.
00:55:57Stay on the line.
00:55:58I think I've been spotted.
00:56:03Get this quickly.
00:56:05This infection is widespread.
00:56:16What can you do now?
00:56:17Where to?
00:56:22London?
00:56:23No, the planet.
00:56:23The planet.
00:56:24Look out.
00:56:45Look out!
00:57:00Squads up and down there.
00:57:04Lomax.
00:57:06Look at this.
00:57:07Steel containers filled with their own atmosphere.
00:57:09Gas supply.
00:57:10They must put them in here so they can get them back to the plant alive.
00:57:13Well, don't touch it.
00:57:14You take the car and go back to London.
00:57:15Go back to me, guys.
00:57:16Contact them, every one of them.
00:57:18Make them listen before it's too late.
00:57:20If you ask me, we should both go back.
00:57:22I've got to get into that plant.
00:57:23I may be able to do something.
00:57:24Now, wait a minute.
00:57:26It's up to you now, Lomax.
00:57:27You better hurry.
00:57:36Don't struggle.
00:57:37Keep together.
00:57:39How do we know they took her this way?
00:57:41They'll move her to the medical center.
00:57:42That's where they'll be at the plant.
00:57:43Poor kid.
00:57:45They knew where it was and they wouldn't say.
00:57:47That's stranger.
00:57:47What had he done to get his face all shut up like that?
00:57:49Helping, murdering swine.
00:57:51They've got to get it tonight.
00:57:52Look out.
00:57:54Lights ahead.
00:57:55The car.
00:57:56Right, boys.
00:57:57Hold your ground.
00:57:58Right across the road.
00:58:05Let me through.
00:58:06Stand clear.
00:58:07It's the cop.
00:58:08What's this about?
00:58:09We're going to the plant.
00:58:10Well, get back to your homes.
00:58:11You can't do anything.
00:58:11You'll only run into trouble.
00:58:13We're after the men who killed your spouse.
00:58:15And they've taken young Sheena.
00:58:16Go back to your homes.
00:58:17You'll do more good if you go back.
00:58:18We could use the car.
00:58:19Turn it round.
00:58:20Look, don't stop.
00:58:20Turn it round, boys.
00:58:21For help.
00:58:22Go back home.
00:58:51Special personnel at room 7, keep containers moving.
00:59:09Keep containers moving.
00:59:11Hurry.
00:59:12Hurry.
00:59:13The next in-page is ice cream.
00:59:21The next in-page is ice cream.
00:59:51The next in-page is ice cream.
01:00:21The next in-page is ice cream.
01:00:31The next in-page is ice cream.
01:00:32Attention, attention, all special personnel, emergency, proceed with weapons to gate 4.
01:01:02Go to gate 4, emergency, emergency. All special personnel, emergency at gate 4, emergency, emergency. Proceed with weapons to gate 4, special personnel, hurry, emergency at gate 4.
01:01:20Emergency, emergency.
01:01:29Emergency, emergency.
01:01:30Emergency, emergency.
01:01:40Gate 4, our construction worker estimated a hundred hundred feet in number.
01:01:48Gate 4, our construction worker estimated to handle with their number.
01:02:18Here we go! Here we go!
01:02:29I'm out of here!
01:02:59Special personnel, shoot to kill.
01:03:12Go to emergency stations and shoot to kill.
01:03:15Special personnel to emergency stations.
01:03:19Shoot to kill.
01:03:20Shoot to kill.
01:03:29Shoot to kill.
01:03:59Get in the cover.
01:04:18Special personnel, shoot to emergency stations and shoot to kill.
01:04:29Don't shoot. Hold your fire. Wait.
01:04:42Crazy, Max. You.
01:04:45I shot that anyway. Quick, take these guns.
01:04:49Cover this window.
01:04:50You here? What happened?
01:04:51I tried to stop them. There was a gun back.
01:04:53Hey, look at this.
01:04:55What is it?
01:04:55Emergency weapons.
01:04:56Try to get it open.
01:04:57Tom!
01:04:58How bad is it?
01:04:58Sure, sir. What happens now, Inspector?
01:05:00Can this be open from outside?
01:05:01No.
01:05:02Well, we've got a breather anyway.
01:05:04How long is another matter?
01:05:05Then you didn't make your contacts.
01:05:06I'm afraid the world isn't going to know yet.
01:05:08They're still at it.
01:05:09I wonder if any more people don't.
01:05:11This is madness.
01:05:12Staying here like rats in a trap.
01:05:14I'd rather be outside.
01:05:15You must let me out of here.
01:05:16Don't be a fool.
01:05:17Don't, sir.
01:05:19One grenade through that window will be blown to pieces.
01:05:21Hey, now the tank is here for the sake of the pressure control.
01:05:23Pressure control?
01:05:24This is the pressure control center.
01:05:26I helped build this.
01:05:26You mean they feed those domes from here?
01:05:29Each dome is controlled by a separate section.
01:05:31Ammonia, methane, hydrogen, oxygen.
01:05:52Oxygen.
01:05:53It could be that they're being acclimatized.
01:05:57Hello, Max.
01:05:57You.
01:05:58Give me a hand on these controls.
01:05:59This will be a long shot, but we've got to take it.
01:06:02Now, both of you, watch me.
01:06:05Do the same with those panels.
01:06:07Cut off the gas supply completely.
01:06:09Set them at zero.
01:06:11Like this.
01:06:13That should bring the oxygen up to full pressure.
01:06:16Now, what's this going to do?
01:06:18Choke what's in those domes, I hope.
01:06:19You've seen?
01:06:20I've seen.
01:06:21What was it?
01:06:23They're moving in.
01:06:24Attention.
01:06:25Attention.
01:06:26Unoperableized personnel now in the pressure control block.
01:06:29Resistance by you must cease.
01:06:32Lay down your weapons and leave the building.
01:06:34You will be committed to go to your homes pending further action.
01:06:38Leave the building at once.
01:06:40They're still there.
01:06:42Abandon weapons and come out.
01:06:44Come out and be shot to bits.
01:06:45Is that it?
01:06:45I think we ought to know what they say.
01:06:47We're holding this block.
01:06:48We've got to.
01:06:49At least until the oxygen takes effect.
01:06:50What's in those domes, mister?
01:06:52Resistance must cease immediately.
01:06:54Lay down your arms.
01:06:54Yes.
01:06:55But as you tell us, inside those domes are creatures from outside this earth.
01:06:58Are you mad?
01:06:59I've seen them.
01:07:00Thousands of tiny creatures that can join together and expand into things a hundred feet high.
01:07:04And each one can infect a human being.
01:07:06Like a dead chillin.
01:07:06Yes.
01:07:07And those wretched creatures you call zombies.
01:07:09Take a look at them.
01:07:09You'll find the mark.
01:07:11Unoperableized personnel in the second program.
01:07:13You will not be harmed.
01:07:15Leave the building at once or other means of forcing your surrender will be used.
01:07:18How long before that oxygen takes effect?
01:07:20How can I tell?
01:07:21Maybe ours.
01:07:22And what then will the others coming?
01:07:23There will be.
01:07:24Unless we can destroy the asteroid.
01:07:25The thing they're coming from.
01:07:27How are you doing?
01:07:27Your emergency plan.
01:07:28What was it?
01:07:29To use the rocket as a guided atomic bomb.
01:07:31And when was that to happen?
01:07:32I told Brand that he didn't hear from me to set it off by midnight.
01:07:38But you're not seriously going to launch that bomb?
01:07:42This is it, Peterson.
01:07:43Control room.
01:07:48Michael, Brand.
01:07:54Check rocket mode is set to critical phase.
01:07:56We're launching.
01:07:57Don't argue.
01:07:57Do it.
01:08:05Attention, everyone.
01:08:06Brand to all sections.
01:08:07Clear base for firing.
01:08:09Repeat.
01:08:10Clear base for firing.
01:08:11Immediate.
01:08:12How do we know it'll even take off without blowing up?
01:08:15We don't.
01:08:18Check.
01:08:31Fuel on.
01:08:40Fuel on.
01:08:47Compression.
01:08:48Compression.
01:08:57Marsh.
01:09:06Don't touch him.
01:09:07Don't touch anything.
01:09:08Come.
01:09:09Come.
01:09:18Don't touch him.
01:09:27Don't touch him.
01:09:27Don't touch him.
01:09:27Don't touch him.
01:09:28Don't touch him.
01:09:29Don't touch him.
01:09:29Don't touch him.
01:09:30Don't touch him.
01:09:31Don't touch him.
01:09:31Don't touch him.
01:09:32Don't touch him.
01:09:32Don't touch him.
01:09:33Don't touch him.
01:09:33Don't touch him.
01:09:34Don't touch him.
01:09:34Don't touch him.
01:09:35Don't touch him.
01:09:35Don't touch him.
01:09:36Don't touch him.
01:09:36Don't touch him.
01:09:37Don't touch him.

01:09:40Don't touch him.
01:09:41Don't touch him.
01:09:41Don't touch him.
01:09:42Don't touch him.
01:09:43Now get that waste in the bottle.
01:10:09I never thought I'd be using a crowbar with a cup.
01:10:13Now we're ready for anything.
01:10:16I need tank guns.
01:10:17We'll need more than any tank guns to get us out of this.
01:10:19Somebody's shooting off flares.
01:10:21Flares?
01:10:22Right across the sky.
01:10:23Where?
01:10:25Where?
01:10:26It's gone now.
01:10:27No, there it is.
01:10:28Is it a flare?
01:10:29No, it's not a flare.
01:10:31What is it?
01:10:32It's the one thing that may save us.
01:10:34And humanity.
01:10:43It's too cursed quiet for my liking.
01:10:46What am I off to?
01:10:47Yes.
01:10:48What was the other memes?
01:10:49Probably just a war of nerves.
01:10:50Any reaction yet?
01:10:51I've done all I can.
01:10:52Pure oxygen.
01:10:53It must be taking effect by now.
01:10:54It must.
01:10:55Wait a minute.
01:10:56What happens if we fire an anti-tank smack into the domes?
01:10:59Whatever came out would be completely beyond our control.
01:11:00No.
01:11:01This is the best way.
01:11:02Poison them slowly.
01:11:03If we can.
01:11:04If you can.
01:11:05If you can.
01:11:06If you can.
01:11:07If you can.
01:11:08If you can.
01:11:09No.
01:11:10No.
01:11:11No.
01:11:12No.
01:11:13No.
01:11:14No.
01:11:15No.
01:11:16No.
01:11:17No.
01:11:18No.
01:11:19No.
01:11:20No.
01:11:21No.
01:11:22No.
01:11:23No.
01:11:24No.
01:11:25No.
01:11:26No.
01:11:27If.
01:11:28If you can.
01:11:29That's a lot of ifs, mister.
01:11:30How long are we going to trust your guesses?
01:11:32It's all this gap about a rocket and things.
01:11:33What's the proof you know what you're talking about?
01:11:35You must believe me.
01:11:36We're all that stands between these things taking possession of perhaps the whole world.
01:11:40Spreading over it and infecting every human being.
01:11:42And who's seen these mysterious things but you?
01:11:44Attention.
01:11:45Attention.
01:11:46My message is done.
01:11:48Switch off.
01:11:49Switch off.
01:11:50Sabotage must cease.
01:11:51Don't move on.
01:11:52Switch off.
01:11:53Quiet.
01:11:54Oxygen now being passed into the domes will destroy the forces you have helped to create.
01:11:59The management are still anxious to cooperate.
01:12:01Anyone injuring recent violence will receive treatment.
01:12:04Go now.
01:12:05Hurry.
01:12:06Hurry.
01:12:07Me too.
01:12:08There we are.
01:12:09It's a trick.
01:12:10Maybe it is, but whose trick?
01:12:11You saw your friends murdered out there?
01:12:12We started a riot, didn't we?
01:12:13Only his word.
01:12:14And if we were wrong...
01:12:15He told us what was in those domes.
01:12:16But what proof has he given us?
01:12:17This is the last appeal to you as reasonable men.
01:12:20Hello.
01:12:21Hello.
01:12:22Hello.
01:12:23My name's MacLeod.
01:12:24I'm speaking to the pressure control block.
01:12:27Put me through.
01:12:28Put me through.
01:12:29Who is speaking?
01:12:30E.J. MacLeod, charge hand welder.
01:12:32We want to know what's inside those domes.
01:12:34There's a fellow here who says there's living things in them.
01:12:37MacLeod, don't be a fool.
01:12:38Leave me alone.
01:12:39I must speak to him.
01:12:40Let him speak.
01:12:41There is nothing you're lying in the domes.
01:12:43They're lying.
01:12:44The entire plant is open to its fiction.
01:12:45Whatever you may wish to see will be shown to you.
01:12:47Don't listen to them.
01:12:48Help me, buddy.
01:12:49Leave me alone.
01:12:50Leave me alone.
01:12:51Leave me alone.
01:12:52MacLeod, dear.
01:12:53I'm accepting your offer.
01:12:54I want to see inside one of the domes.
01:12:55Don't do it, MacLeod.
01:12:56Please.
01:12:57Come alone or bring your comrades behind.
01:12:59Meet us two mates from now outside.
01:13:01Don't breathe.
01:13:02Right.
01:13:03Dawson, you coming?
01:13:04Yes.
01:13:05How do you have me?
01:13:06You stay guard here.
01:13:07You will all be infected.
01:13:08All right, everyone, relax.
01:13:09Ernie, keep them covered in case.
01:13:19The men aren't in uniform.
01:13:29No guns, any of them.
01:13:30I mean, I mean it.
01:13:32They'll be infected.
01:13:34That must be the purpose of this.
01:13:36That's what I'm afraid of.
01:13:37And they'll put one of them on the speaker.
01:13:39Now, listen.
01:13:40He's right.
01:13:41Any moment now, MacLeod or one of the others
01:13:43will talk to you over that
01:13:44and tell you everything is all right.
01:13:45But I beg of you,
01:13:46don't believe him.
01:13:47What's that?
01:13:52He's carrying along one of the pipes.
01:13:54That's what screams.
01:13:55If they come back on that word...
01:13:57Quiet.
01:14:00What's that?
01:14:01Attention.
01:14:02Attention.
01:14:03Push off.
01:14:05Not right here.
01:14:06What?
01:14:07You better be ready for anything.
01:14:10It's hair in the room.
01:14:12Look, the pipe is burst.
01:14:18All right.
01:14:19Only I could do.
01:14:20What's happened?
01:14:21Dom 3.
01:14:22Look at that pressure.
01:14:23No wonder it blew.
01:14:24That pipe must be blocked.
01:14:27At the other end.
01:14:28Blocked with what?
01:14:30Blocked with what, mister?
01:14:32There's something dripping.
01:14:34It's blood.
01:14:35You won't learn.
01:14:36It's blood.
01:14:37You won't learn.
01:14:38It's them.
01:14:39McLeod and Dawson.
01:14:40It must be.
01:14:41The thing's turned on them.
01:14:42They used them to stop the flow of oxygen.
01:14:44That pipe has been blocked with human pulp.
01:14:46No.
01:14:47Guilty, murdering slut.
01:14:48Now!
01:14:49Get this out.
01:14:50The boat is destroyed.
01:14:51I got it.
01:14:56The whole door.
01:14:57Get in the bag.
01:14:59Get out of here.
01:15:00Get out of here, Trevor.
01:15:01The back.
01:15:02One on the back.
01:15:03There's one out there.
01:15:04There's one down there.
01:15:05Man! Put out the man!
01:15:08There's one down there!
01:15:35Alright!
01:16:05Let's go.
01:16:35Down! Down! Get down!
01:16:48There's a track.
01:16:59He won't trouble us now.
01:17:02He's dead. To the top. Quick.
01:17:05Look out! The gates are closed! Hold on!
01:17:21Hold on!
01:17:33He's alive. Just about. It's all about.
01:17:35No, we need him. We need him for proof.
01:17:38Look at them now!
01:17:39They're in pain. It's driving them mad.
01:17:53Rocket. Either it blew itself up or...
01:17:56Look at them! The things!
01:17:57Get under cover. Put your masks on.
01:18:03Get under cover. Put your masks on.
01:18:05Get under cover. Put your masks on.
01:18:07Get under cover.
01:18:09Get under cover.
01:18:49It's over.
01:18:51Wait a minute.
01:18:56Get him.
01:19:01The mark! It's gone!
01:19:03The infection must be wearing off.
01:19:06Leaving them.
01:19:08Perhaps all of them.
01:19:10What's happened? Where is this?
01:19:11You'll be all right now, sir.
01:19:12Ain't on me, mate. You'll be all right.
01:19:18You know what worries me?
01:19:20How am I going to make a final report about all this?
01:19:24What worries me
01:19:24is how final can it be?
01:19:42What's all I mean...
01:19:43I don't know why you're not going to be so far?
01:19:44Sure can't do it.
01:19:45Thank you, Pat!
01:19:46It's good.
01:19:47Why it's just that.
01:19:47I know I don't have it here...
01:19:47I don't have it.
01:19:48I don't have it.
01:19:48I just want to go any more in this one colour and say...
01:19:50And for me...
01:19:51I know...
01:19:52So alright...
01:19:52Et testified in the next one.
01:19:53I'm going to make a final report on Mars!
01:19:55Thank you for that one.
