00:00Let's go to Ace Bailey next. Of course, there was a lot of talk about him heading into the draft
00:04and how he handled the entire draft process. Was he going to slip far down the board?
00:11Didn't slip as far as some thought. He ends up going fifth to Utah. And you mentioned this.
00:16It seemed like every, you know, all they've been trying to do to this kid for the last week to 10
00:20days was, you know, bash him any way that they could. And then even when Utah takes him at five,
00:25Scotty, what did they do like five minutes after that? Oh, he didn't want to go there. He's not
00:30happy. He didn't like going to Utah. This is not going to work out well. Let's hear it from Ace
00:35himself about going to the Jazz. Ace, there was a lot of speculation, the buildup in your draft
00:40process. You know, you seem pretty happy to me to be going to Utah. But what do you say to people
00:45that maybe just don't believe that? I mean, I control what I control. So how they feel,
00:49how they feel. But to my team and me, just me focusing on the basketball and them doing what
00:54they're doing. So it happens. Yeah. And look, he's going to be fine. He's a really exciting
01:00player. In fact, you know, when Dylan was out, this guy had, you know, 40 point games. He can,
01:07he can light it up. He's a, he's got it all. He's a pure scorer and he's exciting. He's a lot,
01:13I think, longer than Harper. Obviously people think Harper's better. I've seen Dylan. I've never
01:22seen anything like it. I've been around a lot of really super mega talented basketball players in
01:29my day. Going to Indiana. You know, I was at Indiana, they won a national championship and I
01:35saw some of the greatest players of my life when I was in Bloomington play basketball. And then I've
01:43seen this kid work. And in the morning I would go there at 530 in the morning and this kid would be
01:49in there soaking wet shooting. I saw him once hit a hundred straight threes. I mean, literally I,
01:55I sat and watched him hit a hundred straight and he was soaking wet, grinding, working five in the
02:00morning. I mean, this kid, you know, earned his way to the NBA. He's a legit baller. There's no
02:09questions asked about Dylan, but I think the, the shake they've given this Ace Bailey is downright evil.
02:17I think it's, uh, it's disturbing. I don't understand what their fascination was in trying
02:25to ruin this kid before he ever, uh, played a game in the NBA. I mean, they've been talking bad
02:30about this kid now for months. Like he's some kind of felon or something. Like he's some kind of
02:36rapist. Like they treat him like a criminal. I mean, a guy gets drafted last night. It didn't take
02:42Carver. I said it five seconds before they started saying he's unhappy. I mean, like move on to
02:47something else. You're so pathetic. The media, you're so pathetic that, you know, you hear all
02:53the time. And, you know, like even in politics, the fake news and everything, all these stories
02:59about this guy are so wrong and so bizarre. And like, where do they come up with this stuff?
03:06Like at their dinner table with their kids, the dogs telling them this stuff. I don't know
03:12where they're getting it. I just don't think any of it's true. That kid's going to ball out. Now
03:17he may take some time getting used to living in Salt Lake city and, you know, but let's face facts.
03:24It's a lot more jumping than people give it credit for. It's a great place in the winter. It's,
03:30it's just absolutely on fire in the winter with the skiing. There's no getting around it. It's a
03:35really cool place to go in the winter. And then, you know, they got a hockey team. They got an NBA team
03:40that they love their NBA there. They just have sucked for a minute here. I mean, I guess since the
03:45end of Malone and Stockton, they've sucked.
