00:00It made me just look at my life and what, where was it heading? What was really, what will,
00:07you know, what was I running from? You know, what were my priorities in life? And like,
00:12I just, I really started having to like analyze that. I didn't, I would never have called myself
00:18a fearful person, but when I really started digging in, I was like, oh yeah, I was afraid
00:22of this. I was afraid of this. I was, you know, and you have to just go, it just made me look at
00:29life in a whole different journey of like, what really matters in life? What, what really excites
00:35you and what do you want to stand for? You know, and I think I want to stand for someone that,
00:40you know, hopefully can, can leave a little positivity, you know, in this world. And I
00:45mean, I love talking with new artists and, and sharing a little bit about, you know, some of
00:50the missteps that I've had in my career, what I wish I could do differently. But I think the minute,
00:55you know, you recognize too, that all those ups and downs in your career and your life,
01:00they're part, they're a part of a journey and they lead you somewhere. And if it took,
01:06you know, me kind of getting to those low points to get to where I am now, well, that's,
01:12that was a part of the journey and there's nothing wrong with that. And so, you know,
01:16we're all going to make mistakes. We're all going to struggle with stuff, but, um,
01:19I don't know. I just appreciate where I am and what I've accomplished more than I used to.
01:26I think that sometimes was almost the, the, the beauty and the curse of having
01:31Viju now so early in our career. It was such an insane, successful song that like everything
01:39that we did for the next three to five years, we compared to that. And, you know, it just was,
01:46it was kind of a, an unattainable goal to repeat, but we've had a lot of great success and I'm just
01:52appreciating the journey of it so much more appreciating the balance with my family. And,
01:57um, I don't know. I just think it's coming through in this music when I listen to it,
02:02you know, it puts a smile on my face and, um, I've listened to it so much now. I always,
02:07people always ask me that was like, do you listen to your music? I was like,
02:10after I make a record, I'll wear the damn thing out. After about two, three months,
02:15you're like, all right, I need a little break from, I need a little break from this guy.
