00:00So you resigned from Netanyahu's government amid the months-long assault on Gaza.
00:06Do you support Israel's attacks on Iran?
00:09And I just want to say to you, according to official figures,
00:13around 606 civilians have died in Iran since the 13th of June,
00:22since Israel launched their attacks on the country.
00:26Yes, but I'm very sorry for every civilian, Iranian civilian, that was killed,
00:34just as I'm very sorry for every citizen in Gaza who is being killed.
00:40But this is not because we are seeking to kill civilians.
00:43This is because we have to go after military or operational targets,
00:49and those are embedded into civilian society,
00:51and that's the result of what happened, unfortunately, in Gaza.
00:57You know, if you talk about damages, surrounding damages in military operations around the world,
01:06Israel is achieving the highest ratio, I would say, of kind of one-to-one,
01:14which, professionally speaking, considers to be a good operational ratio.
01:19But, once again, I'm very, very sorry for every loss of life which is unnecessary.
01:26We could take all those tons of dollars that went to terror organizations,
01:32that went to build those nuclear sites, that went to build those ballistic missiles
01:36that threatened the entire continent, or half this continent of Europe,
01:40and invest them in science, in education, in health system.
01:48I think the Iranian people themselves should be getting those kind of things
01:54much more than the attempts that the Iranian regime have done outside Iran itself.
02:01So, yes, I'm very sorry for every civilian who's being killed,
02:06but if it comes to a point where we have to act, then we have to act.
