"The Islamic Republic brought the conflict onto Iranian soil and is responsible for the war and its consequences," says Sima Sabet, Host of the Sima Sabet Show.

Transcript
00:00It has been nearly two weeks since Israel first launched missile strikes on Iran.
00:05Were these attacks necessary?
00:07And what more can you tell us about the people and what they are facing in Iran?
00:14Well, to be honest, I blame the Islamic Republic that brought this war into our homeland.
00:21This is the main thing that everyone has to pay attention when they're talking about this war.
00:26The stance that the Islamic Republic had on its nuclear advancement, on nuclear ambitions, on the missile programs that they were trying to develop, the instabilities that they had in the region through their proxies, they're all factors that finally brought this war upon us.
00:50So the main responsibility goes to the Islamic Republic, but anyone else.
00:56They are the ones who attracted this war.
00:58And on the other side, unfortunately, there are some civilians and casualties which came with it.
01:07Of course, I mean, innocent people are the ones who they pay a heavy price during the war.
01:13One of the main results of this one was that IRGC is now weaker than ever.
01:21Many of their top commanders are taken off.
01:23They're killed.
01:24And this is the result that no one could expect to see in a lifetime if it wasn't happening during the war.
01:34So the targets on the very first night took the main chain of command of IRGC, which they have the main responsibility for firing the missiles, for advancing the nuclear bomb, etc., etc.
01:50These ambitions are not Iranians' ambitions.
01:54These are Iranian people.
01:55They don't want to have war with anyone.
01:57Iranian people, they don't have any conflict with anyone in the region.
02:02They want to have good relationships.
02:04They want to have good economy.
02:06But they have been living in a miserable, miserable circumstances because of two decades of sanctions.
02:12But again, who brought these sanctions upon Iranians?
02:15It was a foreign policy that Ali Khamenei, the Supreme Leader, and the government, and also the IRGC, brought it on our people.
02:25So I think that these are the factors that when we are talking about a war, we have to realize that there has been reasons behind it.
02:34I remember the day that Grossi said that they cannot confirm the peacefulness of the nuclear advancement or nuclear activities of Iran.
02:46They announced that they are going to open another enrichment site, which is not announced.
02:52So this is a kind of, I mean, mocking the whole world, mocking the international community.
02:57What else did they expect?
02:59Everyone was worried about their nuclear.
03:01And now they don't have any nuclear.
03:03I don't know what they're going to negotiate over.
03:05They have to stop firing missiles.
03:08So this ceasefire is going to last.
