00:00as the yankees came into town uh and they got to see ellie de la cruz on display in first hand uh

00:08just a double short of the cycle he had an rbi triple he had a single and he had a big fly on

00:51did hit one in the first inning into the second deck but that was um that was it uh the yankee

00:57bats were very quiet after that in fact they left a small village on the base paths uh the rest of

01:04the night they had several opportunities with runners in scoring position uh and they were

01:08just not i wonder what they're gonna do tonight against that chase burns kid they brought him up

01:13and he's their top prospect this guy throws gas apparently i can't wait to see how he does tonight

01:20against rodan in his first big league let's face it uh start right like they're bringing him up he

01:27barely pitched in triple a uh i'm waiting for the yankee lineup i'm interested uh also to see who

01:33uh because now the yankees have like these you know someone's got to sit every night usually there's a

01:38couple guys that got to sit they can't play all these guys on a nightly basis so i'm interested to

01:43see what lefty bats uh boone's gonna put in there tonight against the rookie burns making his first

01:49major league start also last night orioles beat the rangers six nothing man were we wrong on trevor

01:54rogers eight innings three hits no runs four k's the rangers couldn't touch him all night uh tremendous

02:01performance by him uh braves beat the mets 3-2 look who it is again for the braves uh win or lose

02:09since he's come back ronald acuna jr just continues to mash baseballs

02:14ronald acuna jr has done it again have you ever seen anyone celebrate like this guy from the

02:29minute he flips the bat uh his uh trounce around the bases takes forever and he he literally celebrates

02:37the entire time he's like he's a bird he flops his arms he does all this stuff put him in the

02:43home run derby already he does uh he does have a very animated what is that he does between short

02:52and third he's he does like stops it does like a little uh little dance there and i you know the

02:58old school you know the old baseball fan probably really doesn't like that you know i don't like a guy

03:03uh stopping and having fun you're not allowed to have fun out there back kids get out of my yard

03:10we'd we'd throw at that guy next time he came up you know who are you to dance between your balls

03:17out of my yard calm down i got and like you said like we said this yesterday put the guy in the home

03:24run derby or one way or the other let him have some fun it's in atlanta get serious uh meanwhile the

03:30that's uh they have big problems they have now lost uh nine out of ten uh they've lost all four

03:36games to the braves this year uh they are having a very tough time right now why don't we check in

03:41with mets manager carlos mendoza and see how he feels yeah um i think it's a combination of a lot

03:47of things um especially when when you're chasing a lot and it feels like during this stretch we we're

03:53getting down uh early in games and then their bats are pretty much uh completely different whether

03:59you're spending a lot of times on defense and then you want to give uh your starter a little bit

04:03of a break and then they're getting ahead of you um and then we're obviously not creating enough

04:08traffic and i feel like well you know it's the reality once the bottom of the lineup we're having

04:14a hard time hard time creating opportunities you know and like we're relying pretty much on the top

04:19four five guys and then if those guys in the bottom are not able to get on base um that's that's why

04:27we're having a hard time scoring runs right now so what uh and then like i think tonight uh they're

04:32already oh and four against the braves and they're going with uh it frankie montas is back isn't that

04:38about right
