Reuters says the U.S. alleges Chinese AI firm DeepSeek is aiding China’s military and intelligence and is also sharing American user data with Beijing. A U.S. official told the agency that DeepSeek has access to “large volumes” of Nvidia’s advanced chips, technology that’s been under export restrictions since 2022.
