00:00Madam presiding officer for fiscal 2026 the total estimates of expenditure
00:06amount to 3.71 billion dollars of which the estimates of recurrent expenditure
00:13amount to 2.71 billion dollars. Further budgetary estimates were revealed
00:19unemployment relief program expenditure estimates amount to 91.9
00:25million dollars and CPEP estimates of expenditure amounts to 43.4 million
00:32dollars. The total estimates of expenditure are predicated on projected
00:38national budget of 63.5 billion dollars and a requested share of 5.9 percent.
00:47Let me state here Madam presiding officer that any allocation to the THA in fiscal
00:532026 that is less than 5.9 percent will constitute a non-alleviation of the
01:00per capita expenditure inequality that has defined the national budget and its appropriation bill since
01:081962. The recurrent estimates for fiscal 2026 totaling at 2.71 billion dollars are disaggregated
01:18as follows. Personnel expenditure 787.3 million dollars goods and services 809 million dollars
01:29minor equipment purchases 43.1 million dollars current transfers and subsidies 1 billion 70.6 million
01:39dollars. Receiving the largest share of the pie in terms of the allocation announced the division of
01:45health with 845.6 million dollars. Assembly legislature 25.7 million dollars. Office of the chief secretary
