“Want Indian govt to take firm stand…” CPI(M) condemns US strikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities

He also demanded Indian govt to take a firm stand against the attack on Iran by the USA and Israel.  “We condemn this attack unequivocally. We, the CPI (M) and other left parties, call upon people to come out in protests against this naked declaration of war. We want the Indian government to take a firm stand against the attack on Iran by the USA and Israel...,” said MA Baby.

00:00It is shocking that during early hours, as per the orders of U.S. President Donald Trump,

00:11America attacked Iran in three places. According to U.S., these are nuclear sites in Iran.

00:22It is very clear that U.S. intelligence categorically stated that they don't have any proof of Iran

00:33moving with nuclear weaponization. So it is a unilateral declaration of Donald Trump

00:40and, of course, Netanyahu of Israel. This attack on Iran is a naked violation of U.N. charter

00:48and international law. We remember that earlier, U.S.A. attacked Iraq and Saddam Hussein.

01:00And Iraq was occupied by U.S.A. and Saddam Hussein was murdered. What was the ground?

01:07U.S.A. alleged that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction. But when U.S.A. attacked Iraq,

01:14no weapon of mass destruction was used by Iraq against U.S.A.

01:18Later on, U.S.A. and U.K. confessed that they had wrong intelligence report. So on wrong

01:27intelligence report, countries are being attacked. Today, U.S.A. and Israel are to be viewed

01:34as the number one and number two rogue states of the world. We condemn this attack unequivocally.

01:42We, we CPIM and other left parties call upon people to come out in protest against this naked

01:51declaration of war. We want India government to take a firm stand against the attack on Iran by U.S.A. and

02:04Israel. This will escalate. And if this escalates and even otherwise, this is going to have

02:12very, very crippling impact on world economy. Prices will go up. Oil prices will go up. Indian economy

02:20economy and world economy would suffer. Therefore, not only for peace, for peaceful daily life of

02:29people all over the world. Peace is required. Immediately, U.S.A. and Israel should stop their war

02:38actions. Not only in Iran, but in Gaza and West Bank also.
