00:00in order to be able to build a team like this, you better nail your top draft picks. Eckblatt was
00:05number one. Barkoff was number two in 20. Lundell, I think, was number 12 in 2020.
00:12You make all those free agency moves, but you don't overpay for anybody. And nobody wanted Seth
00:18Jones. Like Marshawn was supposed to stick a fork in him. So it has to start from the top
00:24in this organization from when they first got into the league to now with this ownership group
00:29and Zito. Who exactly is going to lure anybody away from Florida here come this offseason?
00:37Yeah, I mean, that's the thing. I'm sure like if Sam Bennett gets to July 1st, free agency
00:42opens up, there's going to be a lot of teams calling him. And, you know, I don't want to
00:46speculate, but I'm sure he could flirt with 10 million per year on the open market. Maybe
00:50he comes in just under that with the Florida Panthers. And Eckblatt was a big piece as well.
00:55So you're right. They have to nail the draft picks. But, you know, with the trades and
00:59the additions that they made, even Forsling, a waiver wire pickup, right? That may be on
01:03the rest of the league overlooking him, but just a fantastic move by the front office to
01:09bring him in. And he doesn't get enough credit again, offensively. And what they did to the
01:14Oilers, they left for 255 minutes, the most ever in a Stanley Cup final. So they were just
01:19dominant start to finish. And I do believe that Sam Bennett is going to remain a Florida
01:23Panther. If you were following some of the videos on Instagram last night, he did, he
01:29kind of dropped the mic last night, said he wasn't going anywhere. We'll see if that does
01:33happen. But how could you not bring him back? And he set an NHL record for the most goals
01:38in a Stanley Cup playoff run as well with 13 on the road and the Consmite winner there.
01:44And it's another guy that they just acquired, right? They bought low on Sam Bennett. So very
01:50impressive run. And we'll see what happens, right? Tampa had the back-to-back in 2020 and
01:552021. Pittsburgh back-to-back in 2017, 18. Chicago, three in six years. Detroit, three
02:00in six years. I believe that you need to win three in a row or three in five. I think the
02:04last true dynasty was Edmonton, five in seven years, from 83 to 89. The Aventers, four straight
02:09in the early 80s. The Habs, four straight in the late 70s. Montreal actually won six of
02:13nine in the 70s and went on a 10 of 15 run. But there's a lot more teams in the league
02:17now. But I do believe that this team is going to be fully back pretty much. And I think that
02:22they're certainly going to be the team to beat over the next couple of years.
