A theatre designer creates entire sets, props, and puppets out of cardboard and his work has featured in plays at Shakespeare’s Globe and Bristol Old Vic.
Samuel Wilde, 38, began by making cardboard toys for his daughter and soon developed the skill into a full-time career.
He uses almost entirely reused or offcut cardboard for his designs, mostly sourced from old boxes collected from local shops.
Thanks to his innovative work, Samuel has even been nominated for an Olivier Award, the UK’s most prestigious theatre prize.
