Israel aims to cripple Iran’s nuclear and missile programs, says Israeli Minister of Foreign Affairs Gideon Sa'ar, calling the strike a necessary, historic move to protect the nation.

00:04First of all, to severely damage the nuclear program.

00:08We hadn't finished with that.

00:09We still have objectives.

00:11We still have targets that now we can target easily

00:16because our air force now can relatively fly freely there

00:24and we still have objectives.

00:27Secondly, to severely damage the ballistic missiles program of the Iranian regime

00:34and thirdly, to severely damage their plan to eliminate the state of Israel.

00:39We knew when we decided on Thursday night this historic decision

00:45that we will face damages, that we will face casualties,

00:49but we also knew that there is a price not taking that decision.

00:57And that decision was taken in the last possible moment,

01:01a decision which is crucial to ensure the future

01:04and the security of the state of Israel.
