00:00Portuguese police have arrested six individuals linked to a far-right group,
00:06seizing firearms and explosive materials.
00:10Authorities believe the suspects are members of the so-called Movimento Armilar Lusitano,
00:17which police say sought to establish itself as a political movement backed by an armed militia.
00:23The suspects are under investigation for crimes considered terrorist in nature,
00:29including possession of prohibited weapons, discrimination and incitement to hatred and violence.
00:35We saw that they were actually armed, to recruit people and to have the capacity of training and tactics
00:43to do an action that we don't know which one, but that probably would be on its horizon.
00:49Police say the group, which was formed in 2018, promotes extreme far-rights nationalist views
00:55and targets migrants and refugees with online propaganda.
01:01Authorities also confirmed one of the six detainees was a member of a police force.
