'F1' movie star Kerry Condon chats with THR at the film's premiere and dishes on the excitement she felt to film during the actual races. Plus, she shares how nervous she felt seeing Damson Idris and Brad Pitt race during filming.

00:00Congratulations on this film. I heard you shot a lot of this during the actual races.

00:05So what was that like? Was there an adrenaline rush there?

00:07Yeah, we were real prepared though. Joseph had us really prepared and we had these headsets.

00:12So we really had Brad and Damson in the headsets.

00:15So we were all set up to be successful. It was more exciting than nerve-wracking.

00:22What was it like seeing Brad and Damson behind the wheel for the first time?

00:26I watched them once and then I got really nervous and I got kind of scared for them.

00:32So I didn't watch them after that. I just focused on my own stuff.

00:36Would you ever get behind the wheel of an F1 yourself?

00:39No, I like regular cars. I don't need to be good at everything.

00:45What would you say was the biggest adrenaline rush you had while making this film?

00:51Biggest adrenaline? Geez, there's so many.

00:53But I think in Hungary, when we did the park for May, when the cars come in at the end,

00:59it's a good moment for our teams. We had to evoke a really amazing feeling.

01:03And it was a really great moment for the crew and the cast.

01:06We had two takes to get it right.

01:08And it all worked. It was so amazing.

01:11And we just bonded. It was great.

01:13Well, I know a lot of F1 drivers have pre-race rituals and good luck charms.

01:18Do you have anything like that before a shoot?

01:19Not so much for acting, but before I get on a plane, I say in Our Father,

01:24because I went to Catholic school and I touch the outside of the plane.

01:28Yeah.

01:29And aside from F1, what is one summer blockbuster you're really looking forward to seeing?

01:34Ooh.

01:37Hmm.

01:38That's a tricky one now.

01:40I can't say another movie. I'm sorry.

01:43Like, I'm just, I refuse.

01:45There's no other movie.

01:48I mean, there is, but...

01:50Yeah.

01:50And it's F1. F1's the movie of the summer.

01:52Yeah, and if you don't, if you're not into F1, you're still going to like it.

01:56It's a real feel-good movie.

01:58It's a really, it's like, there's a nostalgia element to, like,

02:01those movies you used to watch when you're growing up.
